It’s worth your salt to try Identity Brewing. Your first impulse may be to say “What’s up with the biscuit sandwiches?” Biscuits is a clever choice. They taste good. And they maintain their structural integrity when stacked with cuban, club, veggie, and chicken fixins’. That’s as opposed to, say, the buns used by Traverse City hot dog joints, which fall apart before they’re half eaten. Try the Chicken Cordon Bleu biscuit sandwich. Pair it with a pint of Strait Up if you like an IPA, or Amanda’s Folly if you prefer a soft blonde ale. And if you visit Identity between the rushes, chat with the staff. They’re good eggs. The guy we talked with has some of the best body art I’ve seen since the Navy. The gal will tell you she’s got a tat, too. Fair warning: she doesn’t. She gets tickled when she tells men she has a tattoo, then sees their eyes roam across her neck, hands, and ankles looking for it.

I came in for a quick bite to eat and this place was so surprisingly good!!! The chicken shawarma bowl was so flavorful and filling. I tried my best to stay healthy and avoid the biscuit but I couldn’t help it. The biscuit was soft and melted in my mouth.

My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch on a Monday. Light traffic and we were able to get food right away! Locally owned and operated cafe with great food! The staff is super friendly and enjoyable.
My wife ordered a bowl of the tomato basil soup and I ordered a cup of the curry soup. Both were very good, especially for the rainy day we had!
For the meals, I ordered the Chicken Shawarma and my wife ordered the Falafel. We both enjoyed our meals! Great flavor, super simple, and just the right amount of food for lunch so we weren’t overly full for hours!
We will be back the next time we visit the area!

I had lunch at Identity Brewing, and it definitely wasn’t your typical brewery food. They have a good selection of salads and wraps, so I decided to give their San Diego wrap a try. It was delicious and filling without being overly heavy. The two beers I tried tasted good despite looking a little like soda. The staff was friendly, and the interior was fairly modern and casual. Overall, it was a good spot for lunch and I was happy with it.

4.5-star sandwiches, but 5-star service and for their attention to cleanliness in store. Loved the Caesar Salad Wrap, but the Cuban Sandwich didn’t have much flair to it. Enjoyable experience overall, it’s a good choice for a quick lunch both for dine-in or take-out. They are really speedy!

What a great find! Excellent brews and food. I was craving a good salad after having too much roadtrip food. The chicken salad did not disappoint. On top of that the staff was so welcoming and friendly. I’d definitely make this a regular if I came here regularly.

Cherry Chicken salad was delicious! We also got the chili fries and they were good. Only complaint is they are served on the foil, and my husband dislikes eating with metal fork from foil. But they tasted good!

First time here since the dish closed, and I was pleasantly surprised with the expanded menu and the freshness of the food. Soup was great, kids loved the chicken tenders and fries, they were definitely better than most restaurants. Full bar as well. Definitely a great place and staff was attentive as well.

Popped in while searching for something new, and was greeted with friendly folks, great beer, and chicken shawarma (!!!). No shortage of garlic nor lemon, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Will definitely come back.

Great location in downtown TC. Beer selection is decent and they have items to go. There is a neat outdoor seating area as well. We had the guacamole and the cuban. I would recommend putting the tomatoes on the side of the guac, and adding some spices with salt as it was pretty bland. The cuban had great components but could have been executed a bit better. Cute place overall just need to work on the food a bit.
