My wife and I stumbled into Ida’s on a bit of a whim looking for a nice glass of wine and a snack. We had no idea that it was ‘Pasta Monday’ which was sold out. Rather than turn us away Alexa and Chole shuffled some tables around and fed us one of the best meals we had all Summer.

The entire experience was special. The ambiance, vibe, chatting with Chloe and Alexa and of course the food. The pastas were perfectly cooked and clearly hand made. The wine was delightful and the peach tart dessert was the perfect way to end the meal.

If you are anywhere near Ida’s make an effort to stop by, you will not be disappointed.

We loved visiting Ida’s for a Monday night pasta pop-up dinner. The bar staff (aka Alexa, the Inn host + owner) is gracious and warm; the food by Crooked Spoon Co was stunning, delicious, and creative. We loved every sip + bite and will visit again.

We were too slow to get into Pasta night (monday) but made it to Taco night (tuesday) after a day that included the Lost Kitchen farmers market and short visits to Camden and Rockport. First of all, kudos for being open on Monday and Tuesday. Taco night was fabulous. The tacos were good considering where we are (nothing remotely spicy ha ha). The wine and beer was very good. The vibe was amazing. Very sad that we won’t be around to see Repo Man(?!?) at the theater next door on Saturday. Ida’s is a must if you are nearby.

Ida’s is my new favorite local bar! Super cozy hang space, warm and knowledgeable staff, and plenty of drink options… right in the heart of downtown Waldoboro. Whether or not you’re a guest of the Inn, go check it out!
