Ida Thai’s are go to every time we go out! The food is always delicious and made fresh and fast! Quality of ingredients is second to none. I absolutely love their chicken pad Thai, but then again I’ve never had anything on the menu that wasn’t absolutely superb! The location is super convenient, and there’s always plenty of parking. The rotating specials on the board always feature new and exciting flavors as well.

My wife and I went there for lunch. It was a Saturday afternoon, and we were greeted by a very friendly and lovely lady who escorted us to our table. The place is very clean and decorated nicely. The menu is quite substantial, offering many delicious food items.
We split an appetizer. It was served on a platter with 3 delicious sauces. All of the items on Platter were delicious and hot. We also ordered a bottle of wine, which was excellent and fairly priced. We also ordered a plate of crab Rangoons, and they were awesome.
Our server was very nice and friendly and attentive.
They have a full bar, and we really enjoyed our dining experience. I would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant in Wilmington NC just south of Monkey Junction in the Harris teeter shopping center on South College Road. I look forward to going back and trying some other wonderful menu items.

Enjoyed this new location of a well known Carolina Beach restaurant around the corner from our house. Fresh, delicious food loaded with vegetables and seafood. The soft shell crab was perfectly cooked and fell apart. Accompanied with crisp vegetables in a yellow sauce. The spicy basil seafood was in a brown sauce and full of seafood.
Very busy on a Sunday evening and staff was on point. Will be back on a regular for dine in and takeout. Reasonable prices for large quantities.
Another great meal with exceptional service on Friday! Highly recommend this restaurant. Spicy Fried Basil with shrimp, medium heat level was spicy enough for me. Full of veggies which I love. Panang curry with beef was in a beautiful orange spicy sauce. A spoon was truly helpful in drinking the sauce like a soup.

Stopped in for a quick bite before grocery shopping at Harris Teeter. We only had a couple of appetizers (Thai Dumplings and Chicken Satay) and the fried rice but it was very tasty. The service was kind of slow for the small crowd but we will try this place again and see if that gets better. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.

Excellent food. In fact it was the best tasting chicken fried rice I’ve ever had! However I’d suggest carryout as the restaurant is not terribly clean and our water tasted strange.
Five stars for food. Two stars for cleanliness of the dining room. Five stars for friendliness of the staff.
The red curry was quite good and my wife enjoyed her Pad See Ew.

We tried Ida Thai tonight for the first time at the recommendation of a regular customer and it did not disappoint. My wife and I both chose typical dishes when eating Thai. She had spicy basil chicken and I had pad Thai. We both enjoyed the meal. The food came out quick despite the constant influx of to go orders coming in and out of the door. The wait staff was attentive too given the business. I enjoyed the Pad Thai and the heat level of 3 was just right for me personally wanting it hot but not wanting to break a sweat. I also thought the prices were fair and the portions large. We will definitely be back!

We seek this place out each summer we come to Carolina Beach! We were so happy to see they were able to move into a newer building. Such an upgrade! Food quality is just as good as it ever was. My Panang Curry was absolutely delicious and the rest of my group had the Pad Thai and Spicy Basil noodles with glowing reviews all around. The Chicken Satay, Spring Rolls and Crab Rangoons as starters were all on point – gone so fast I didn’t get any pictures! Service was prompt and friendly and we can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend you check this place out.
