So so good!! And it’s all vegan I’ve had the hot chocolate, breakfast baguette w/butter and jam (raspberry might be my fav), cinnamon twist and fruit tart. Everything was delicious. Love the location. You can tell the pastries are done with love and care. Vegan and non-vegans will be happily satisfied. Wish them much success! Mercy

I stopped by ID-éclair and was really impressed. The chocolate éclair was honestly one of the best I’ve had – super fresh, not overly sweet, and filled with a smooth, rich chocolate cream. I also tried the croissant, which was really good too.

The bakery itself is clean, bright, and has a few seats if you want to enjoy your pastry there. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. You can tell they put real care into what they make.

Overall, a wonderful little French bakery with top-quality pastries. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

This is one of the best places I’ve ever been to. We ordered a lot and they took care of us so well, very kind people and very great shop.

The food was great. We got the Ham & Cheese Croissant, Chocolate Croissant, Quiche of the day (Mushroom), Raspberry Tart, French Brest, & Dubai Mini, everything was great. Like actually everything.

We are traveling through from the South and have tried many vegan places along the way. This is one of, if not the most memorable so far.

This is one of the best cafes in LA. Not just “plant-based,” either. The food is consistently superb, the pastries sublime, the tarts exquisite. Their coffees are also delicious and well-considered, and the staff is phenomenal, both kind and considerate. Chef Romy is uniquely brilliant at both sweet and savory, executing the most delicate pastries and hearty soups with equal skill. His talent for flavors is why my partner and I have become regulars. Whenever we need to eat out, we always come to ID Eclair or their sister wine bar, La Cave. Every bite we’ve had here has been truly excellent. The prices are also fair, and the vibe of the seating areas are so perfectly Parisian that it enhances the dining experience. (People watching with a croissant and coffee? Yes!) They’re constantly innovating with new dishes, so I’d recommend you grab a few treats to go after you dine in. Pasadena and LA are so lucky to have this talented chef and his team creating delicious food!

Can’t say enough good things about ID-eclair! Absolutely the best almond croissant ever, though all the pastries are fantastic (you must try the macaroons and eclairs!). Everything is vegan, but vegan or non-vegans alike will love this bakery. You can’t go wrong with whatever you get. Staff is super friendly and professional and this spot all-around has a positive and happy vibe. I also love the dishes and espresso cups when ordering “for here”. Definitely a gem in Pasadena!

Truly a hidden gem! This place was so delicious! I went yesterday for my birthday and was delighted at how tasty everything was. I’m vegan and was pleasantly surprised that everything was also vegan in here. The quiche was incredible, not even exaggerating. I will definitely be coming back! 🙂

Wonderful experience both food and service!

We came to Pasadena specifically to try this food. Vegan Patisserie? Yes!

We ordered 3 coffees which they brewed fresh. Whatever beans they are using, the stuff is GOOD!

We got a few things. I came for the Eclairs. We got 3 Mocha with Espresso filling and one Vanilla. The pastry is so so good. First actually excellent Vegan Eclairs I’ve ever had or simply great Eclairs vegan or not.

We got the Strawberry and Fruit and Berry tarts. Fantastic. The crunch! The creaminess! The balance and tang! Blown away.

Croissants, very very tasty, flaky, puffy with drizzles of syrup.

That Espresso filled Croissant/Muffin creation was out of this world.

Oh AND that Breakfast Scamble tasted DELICIOUS.

Thank you for all, 100% will be back.

ID-éclair is a slice of Paris right in the heart of Pasadena.

The quality of the pastries here are exceptional. Every bite is flavorful, balanced, and made with love & intention. You can tell that only the best ingredients are used, and there’s a certain elegance in both the flavors and presentation that feels like a true celebration of French pastry craft!

The space is super clean, modern, and welcoming with French charm with seating inside & outside.

What makes it even more special is the story behind it. The chef, who came from France, has a beautiful message boards posted outside about his journey to Pasadena and his dream of creating something special here. That heart and passion is reflected in every detail of the bakery.

The service is also fantastic: friendly, helpful, and always happy to guide you if you’re not sure what to try first. Emily & Alfredo are my absolute favs and they can brighten anyone’s day!

This is definitely a must-visit spot in Old Town. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, make sure to treat yourself to something here!

I went to this cafe because many vegan friends recommended it. The croissants and chocolate croissants were really delicious. I also recommend the lightly sweetened animal cookies.Very cute! The cafe and bathrooms are very clean. There are pet-friendly tables in front of the cafe. Street parking is also very convenient if you use the app. It takes more than an hour to drive from my house to this cafe , but it’s well worth it.
