The French and Japanese twists in each dish were very interesting. Flavors were different but delicious! Place is quite small so I definitely recommend setting up a reservation. The views and atmosphere were top notch. Glad to have this place in the neighborhood!

What a gem in the Mount Baker neighborhood.
We went in on a Friday night and had no issues getting seated.

You can tell a lot of thought went into each dish. For instance, the seasonal veggies came with this miso and black garlic dressing which highlighted a lot of fall apple notes. The filet mignon was made to perfection. The brie mushroom risotto was rich in flavor. For dessert, we had yogurt mousse with Granny Smith apples, and it was a great light and tart treat to offset our main course.

There were some wine and sake bottle options, but the by glass options were straightforward.

For the level of care and technique that goes into the food, I like that the ambiance of the restaurant is more down to earth. Having a restaurant to this pedigree away from busier hot spots around Seattle is great if you want to dine somewhere more intimate.

Highly recommend, perfect for date night!

I went there for Christmas weekend dinner so they have the same menu for everyone who booked. The best is the first soup course which has a soft, bright, mixed taste. Nice appetizer. However starting from the octopus the taste became worse. I’m not an octopus fan but their octopus is alright. But the sliced waygu beef is too raw for me. The Mac cheese tastes weird too. I doubt the wasabi source is a good match with the beef. The last Swiss roll has a rough texture, not like the soft texture I have ever had. The service and atmosphere are good though.

One of the best restaurants in Seattle, totally underrated. The foie gras dish is divine. The wine pours are heavy-handed. The price is steep. You get a nice view of Seattle from the other side.

Wow wow wow, Every bite was a masterpiece as the experience was so special. The Chef delivered and explained every dish. His passion and love felt in with every word. I shared that we visited because my friend went to his class during the bit of Seattle and made a reservation because it was so good. He surprised us with the dish he made that day (not on the menu). Worth every penny and I am so lucky to live 5 min away. I can’t wait to return!

Such a hidden gem! My partner and I booked a reservation for Thursday evening and we were the only patrons. It felt like a personable experience, and the owner was extremely friendly. He even gifted us small cakes to enjoy the next day.

The portions are on the smaller side, but we were stuffed by the end of it. Would highly recommend this place for date night!

I love this little gem of a place. Second visit and everything was delicious and beautifully plated. Recommend as a romantic or just relaxingly indulgent evening out.

Food exceeded our expectations, very rich in flavor, a very interesting combination of Asian and French taste. My husband and I literally went from to after the first bite. Food portion was small though, that’s the characteristic of French cuisine. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a food adventure

The dishes were all excellent and full of flavor while having a great visual element as well. The leek soup had a wonderful unctuousness. The duck breast was perfectly warm,
soft, and the fat rendered; wholly satisfying with a light glaze. The fish was a flaky Branzino with a skin just crusty to add to the earthy flavors of the foraged mushrooms. The sake selection was outstanding. We really enjoyed the dining experience. There were multiple families with active small children on a Saturday night though.

Nice spot in the neighborhood for an intimate, upscale dinner. The space is small, so plan to make reservations. Time it so you can see the sunset from the gorgeous views. In regards to the actual meal, while the food we received was tasty, nothing blew me away. For the price, I was left wanting more flavor and interesting dishes personally.
