For over 28 years we have served the Greater Austin area with our family-run establishments. Our made-from-scratch cuisine includes not only classic Asian dishes, but also features modern fusion flavors to appease a wide array of palates. In addition, our wine cellar houses an extensive list of award-winning vintages, and the bar features a very exclusive liquor collection. Ichiro has a strong belief that family comes first. To us, family is a broader concept. We believe it includes our guests as well as our local community. This results in an emphasis on supporting local businesses by utilizing local products throughout our food and beverage menus. Our seafood is delivered fresh daily to ensure the most authentic flavors in our kitchen.

We went to Ichiro in Georgetown last night for sushi and it was absolutely amazing! We sat right at the sushi bar, which was such a fun experience. We got to watch the chefs prepare everything fresh in front of us. We made reservations ahead of time but honestly they weren’t needed. We arrived around 5:30 on a Friday night and there was plenty of seating available. Our waiter Arturo was incredibly friendly and attentive. He made the whole evening feel welcoming and relaxed. The food was outstanding. We kept ordering more rolls and pieces, even though we were already full because everything tasted so good we couldn’t stop! We’ll definitely be coming back again soon. Highly recommend this spot for great sushi and a great vibe.

Phenomenal food, drinks, and service. The sushi is out of this world and the scallops and lamb were unbelievable too. Matiss was a top notch server- definitely request him for a great time!

We have been here multiple times, but after our experience last night I don’t think we’ll ever go back. We made a reservation for our anniversary. Our little one was asleep at home with the sitter. We arrived so excited for our evening out. Immediately, after placing our order, the server tells us the seafood bisque appetizer is not available anymore. So I request the beef broth soup. She comes back, that one is also not available. So I choose a salad as a third option. After our appetizers come and we start eating she returns again and tells us the starters each of us requested are not available. So both of us request another starter (I got the tuna). While we’re eating the starters, she comes to tell us that for our entrées, there is no more white rice. She asks if fried rice is ok and mentions that they won’t charge us for the change. Every course was interrupted by a disappointment, no matter how small. If we could’ve been told upon ordering that x,y,z were no longer available, we could’ve chosen to go somewhere else or decided to be ok with the inconvenience. But where this experience really fell short was an interruption in 3 out of 4 courses that something was not available. Our waitress did apologize, but it was the bare minimum. No management ever came by to check on us or apologize for the inconvenience. Easily this was the most disappointing dining experience in my life because every 30 minutes we were let down again. An additional surprise, they had a limited Valentine’s Day menu that was only one page long with a fixed price of $135 per person for 4 courses. We weren’t told this ahead of time. I feel like this makes it worse that they ran out of so many food options because we couldn’t choose any food we normally like there. As I mentioned, we’ve been here in the past and have been treated very well. But this was a massive fail and not one we will get over easily.

The vibe was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were all so kind and friendly. You can tell they really care about the food and the people.
It’s one of those places you just want to keep coming back to. It’s definitely a new favorite. If you’re craving something tasty and comforting, this is the spot! Arturo and Alex were amazing!!

Hidden Gem for Lunch!
My wife and I stumbled upon Ichiro Asian Bistro & Wine Bar today for lunch and were absolutely blown away! We visited during their 12-3pm lunch tapas menu and were surprised to find ourselves the only diners. Don’t let that fool you – this place is a hidden gem!

While their regular menu prices appear to be on the higher side, the lunch tapas menu offers incredible value. Every single sushi roll we tried was exceptional – honestly, some of the best sushi rolls we’ve ever had! We were so impressed with the quality and freshness.

Our server was friendly and attentive, making our experience even better. The restaurant had a lovely ambiance with smooth jazz playing, and we learned they have live jazz on Friday nights (we were there on a Saturday).

If I had to offer any constructive feedback, the shrimp tempura was good, but I felt the shrimp inside the breading was a bit light. However, this was a minor point in an otherwise fantastic meal.
We were pleasantly surprised that our bill, including everything in the attached photos, was under $100. For the quality and quantity of food, this was an absolute steal.

We highly recommend checking out Ichiro Asian Bistro & Wine Bar, especially for their lunch tapas menu! We can’t wait to go back!

My absolute favorite spot in a wide area north of Austin. Elegant, peaceful and great innovative fresh food. I love their lunch tapas. Today we shared 5 items/courses at our table. Three were new (seafood bisque, tuna t, and shogun roll) and two were repeats( Gyoza, hamachi). Everything excellent. We enjoy with a beer, a cocktail, an unfiltered sake or a glass of wine. BUT they need to update the printed menu! Once I received the detailed receipt, our bill was $11.50 more than the printed menu prices. The server said nothing nor was there a code to scan that might have reflected the new prices. I am a loyal customer but was quite displeased when I got home and compared my receipt to the online menu.

This restaurant is a hidden GEM. We had Bagget (spelling) whose service was FANTASTIC! The food was incredible to match the service.

I’m confused why they gave a TV in the place because it’s more high end vibes then let’s watch football but other then that the place has so much thought put into every inch! The designer did a great job as no detail was left untouched. We will be back as this is a new favorite spot for us!

We love this place. The band is the best. The food is fantastic. Not cheap but with it. Oh and did I mention the wonderful band. It is sad to see men coming to such a nice restaurant in ballcap shorts and some in flip flops. No class. Highly reccomend this restaurant for anyone that wants excellent service and great food with an amazing atmosphere.

We’ve been visiting Ichiro for quite some time, and honestly, the live music on Saturday nights is the main highlight these days. The atmosphere remains charming, and the staff is friendly, but we’ve really noticed a decline in the quality of the food.

To make matters worse, the dishes that should be served hot and crispy—like fried items—often arrive lukewarm or even cold and chewy, almost stale. It’s a real letdown, especially for the price point. Even the water tastes like pure chlorine, which is not what you’d expect from a place with white tablecloths.

In short, if you’re heading there, come for the music and the ambiance, but don’t set your food expectations too high. We really hope they turn things around because we used to love this place.
