Ordered the ramen, bang bang shrimp, Mr. Salmon roll, nigiri (toro, king salmon, hamachi), and mochi. The cooked dishes were underwhelming. The nigiri stood out, especially the toro.

Such good food ruined by a horrible experience. We arrived at 9:45, and at 10:55 we were notified that the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes. We had to rush to order the rest of the food, and by the time it arrived, the waiters started aggressively cleaning all the tables, trying to take plates and glasses, making it extremely uncomfortable and clearly forcing people to leave. You still had an hour until closing—either close earlier or don’t make it uncomfortable for everyone.
They also tried to deny us a glass of water, saying they only had bottled water.
Also, this was the second time we had to wait 30 minutes for dessert, while the rest of the food takes about 5 minutes.
The quality of the ingredients is really good, but don’t come here after 10 p.m. Very disappointing

Ichikani, based on Japanese traditions and aesthetics but still using spicy mayo :(. Ichinkani has a few stars on the menu including one that I tried tonight, Miami roll, a fresh taste of tune with a truffle dressing inside that permeates your mouth. Overall this restaurant delivers decent quality, you sort of get what you pay for, only in some cases with the sushi, some come small and poorly made. Service was great, great ambience only prepare yourself for a club type vibe, loud music. I’d prefer going to Hanaichi because it has better sushi and you pay the same as Ichikani. There’s things on the menu that look great, things that aren’t sushi. Definetly a place for nigiris.

Small but cozy place, music is at the perfect volume so you don’t need to shout at whoever you are going with. Ordered a lot of stuff to try a bit of everything. Even though we ordered a lot of food, it was still very affordable. We sat at the bar to watch them prepare certain specialties and it was worth it.

Blown away by the good servicie and delicious food. The service was nice to us, offered recommendations and served the dishes time wise. The duck gyozas and salmon nigiris were exquisite. The juicy roll is highly recommended, great combination of flavours. Finally the handrolls were a new experience, would also recommend.

A Culinary Delight with a Side of Disappointment
The food here is absolutely exquisite! Every bite was a delight, with the Salmon King Nigiri being simply amazing and the Spider Roll nothing short of divine. However, the service left much to be desired. We were reminded more than three times that our table was only available until 9 PM, and at one point, even shouted at around 8:30 PM. This made the entire experience quite uncomfortable. If you plan on visiting, consider booking two reservations or try to avoid weekends.

for special Disappointing Anniversary Experience – Great Food, Cold Service
We chose this place for a special occasion—our anniversary—mainly based on the strong reviews. When we called to make the reservation, they asked if we were celebrating anything, and we mentioned our anniversary. Strangely, they asked the same question again when we arrived. We’re still not sure why our personal celebration was relevant, especially since there was no acknowledgment or special gesture once we were there.
While the food was absolutely great—no complaints at all—the service and atmosphere left us very disappointed. The staff (with the exception of the friendly lady at the entrance) were cold and unwelcoming. Not a single smile or warm interaction throughout the evening.
We arrived at 5:30 PM and were told we had to leave by 7:00 PM, even though more than half the restaurant was empty the entire time. It felt rushed and impersonal. After we received our appetizer, no one came back to take our main order—we had to flag someone down ourselves. It seemed like they expected a one-time order and didn’t want further interaction.
Overall, while the food was good, the service and ambiance were not what we expected for a special night out. I truly regret choosing this place for our anniversary. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.
