I visited Ichika Izakaya and was thoroughly impressed by the food and service. The restaurant had a great selection of izakaya dishes, skewers, sushi, and sake, and everything I tried was delicious. The sushi was fresh and expertly prepared, and the izakaya dishes were full of flavor and texture. I especially enjoyed the oyster special and surprisingly, the corn tempura. The service was also excellent, with the staff being very friendly and accommodating. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations. Apart from a group at the bar who were a bit rambunctious, the atmosphere was nice and cozy, making for a great dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend Ichika Izakaya for anyone looking for a great meal and friendly service. The food and atmosphere were top-notch, making for an enjoyable experience. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that the prices were a bit on the higher side.

This sushi place is definitely one of the top sushi place in my list. I would say probably the second place on my list. It has the best quality for the price you paid. The omekasa is around $129 per person, but the food quality and services is comparable (or even better) to some michelin one star Omekasa places that charge you $200-300 per person. The sushi chef’s service was great and warm, and the waiter was super friendly (disclaimer: I am a regular there, so my opinion on the services might be impartial). For the value, I am paying the best deal of omekasa. Of course, you probably can find top notch sushi out there but you probably can’t find it for this price.

The ramen was SO delicious. The chicken karaage was flavorful. And the sushi roll…. YUM! Truly a hidden gem.

New Japanese restaurant in Bayhill shopping center. Has fast service and good but small selection of rolls, soups, sushi and drinks. Only draw back is that they use imitation crab in their rolls and my ramen was a bit salty but tasty. Beef was soft and juicy and shishito peppers were well prepared and seasoned.

Happened to pass by and find this place. With this less reviews, the food is amazingly good!Afterwards realized that because it was just open for 10 days. Agedashi tofu is both crispy enough and soft enough, with the perfect-balanced broth;the taste of Yakitori can rank in top 5 of my experience all over the United States, even comparing with Izakaya in LA or NY;grill oyster is recommended by the chef, I would say it‘s a must have, chubby and creamy and rich but not over flavored, bring out all the good side outta a huge oyster;Kani Chawanmushi has no difference with the taste in Michelin star restaurant. Not quite having much nigiri this time, will come by and try that part. Overall surprisingly awesome!

We ordered the king salmon nigiri, sake clams, kimchi bacon, corn fritters, chicken karaage, chawanmushi, and a few skewers. All the dishes were perfect in presentation and preparation.
