I love noodles. This is the first time in my life I couldn’t finish some noodles or soup because the aftertaste was that of the worst, hyperprocessed, worst noodles I’ve ever had the displeasure of eating. It takes gross negligence to make soup this bad even with instant ramen soup packets which is essentially what the soup base was. It’s basically hot water + the cheapest soup base + the cheapest noodles + the cheapest baked and seared pork. It takes no effort to get the flavors to work together and have a decent taste. If this were a $11.99 I’d just say you get what you pay for. This was 13.99 or so before tax and came out to $17.xx with a drink. Just goto any other ramen place and save yourself the trouble.

Ichido Ramen is situated at the food court inside the Hmart grocery store. The food court is modern and hip, but maybe due to the demographics in the area while serving mainly Koreans, it has never been bustling during any of the 3 visits I’ve made so far. This is one of the two establishments serving Japanese cuisine at this food court. This one serves ramen and hot dishes, the other one focuses on sushi. (FYI – there is also a Chinese, a Korean fried chicken, and a Korean tofu dolsot place here.)

The food is pretty decent, my top place to go is tsunami. If you come make sure its before 6:30 they will often cancel your order once it gets close to 7pm. Never understood why the places here close in the middle of dinner.

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review yet! Ichido Ramen is without a doubt my most favorite place to get food. My partner and I LOVE going on dates here and eating ramen or trying new things off the Ichido menu. Everything is always so tender and melts in your mouth, the noodles are savory and the broth is warm and comfy. The guy who cooks the food, I do not know his name, but he is always curious and kind. If you want some good, warm food to fill your belly, please try Ichido ramen!

Overpriced, bad quality beef, served dry and overcooked, no flavor and bad service on top of it. It was truly a dissapointing experience. Perhaps it was good once upon a time, but definitely not so good anymore now. Absolutely NOT recommended.

I love Ichido Ramen! My boyfriend and I get food from there nearly every week and we’ve never had a bad experience. The owner is super kind & the food is incredible! Highly recommend the spicy miso ramen 🙂
