It was our first time trying ramen and it exceeded our expectations! I wasn’t sure what to expect at first since I had never had authentic ramen before. Needless to say, it was good! My boyfriend and I both got the crispy chicken ramen and two fried chicken buns. The ramen itself was a bit oily, but like i said, it was my first time trying so i wasn’t sure what to expect or how it should’ve tasted! Other than that, it was delicious! The chicken in the ramen was very good, and the noodles were just right. The chicken buns that we had were so delicious. They were soft, fluffy, and extremely flavorful. I also ordered the lemon strawberry green tea, and my partner ordered the honeydew coconut milk boba tea! Both were very good!
We were taken care of by Justin! Super sweet and super attentive despite the fact that it was just himself and another young lady there. For a very cold Sunday there were a pretty decent amount of people there so they were a little short staffed on the floor. Considering the people there, it was really quiet. My partner and I also loved the interior design! Super pretty and very cool.
Our total for two chicken buns, two chicken ramens, and two drinks was around $60! So, not too bad! It’s around $30 per person (depending on what you get , of course). Definitely would come here again!!
Watermelaon passion fruit
Miso char sue ramen
Char sue donburi
Takoyaki
These are the food we ordered. Might aswell skip the watermelon coconut. Its not as good as it sounds. For me anyway. Ramen is ok. I can only compare the ramen from mitsuwa and stings. To be honest the char sue was not all that good because its gtilled but everyone has thier own preference. Maybe its not for me. Either way food and service is great. Paid about 70 for both. Would recommend 🙂
Everything tasted great and was well-seasoned. I am quite picky when it comes to ramen, but their char siu ramen was pretty good! I would give it a solid 8/10. The sweet potato fries were your typical sweet potato fries, nothing too special, but they were crispy and yummy, so I’d give them an 8/10 as well. The dish that surprised me the most was the tofu bun, which I would rate 10/10! The tofu was super crispy, the bun tasted great with the sauce, and overall, I think it was the best part of our meal! I would definitely come back again to try other ramen and more buns!
The restaurant has a nice ambiance with good amount of lighting!
We were immediately seated and our order was taken shortly – the food also arrived very quickly.
The food tasted good and I definitely recommend this place in downtown Naperville if you are in the mood for Ramen.
Ordered the Thai iced tea! It was okay, not has deep of a tea taste as I’m used to
The karage was also okay, breading was thin and nice and the chicken was decent chunks of cut chicken thigh and yet it was dry. I wouldn’t order it again.
Now the takoyaki was the star of my meal. It was perfectly made, the only thing I was a little disappointed in was the amount of octopus per ball.
I ordered the spicy miso ramen. The broth was rly pork forward but not milky like a regular tonkotsu broth. It’s missing a little salt, maybe more tare? Idk it didn’t taste like miso at all because the pork taste was to strong. The noodles were rly good tho! Same for presentation. I had to ask for chili oil because I didn’t find it very spicy but it tasted good with kimchi!
Over all the broth is lacking to me and I might come again to try their non broth dishes
Overall it’s an okay food experience but I really enjoyed my service so I can see myself coming again
The ramen are reasonably priced
The services was great, iam actually surprised that on a Saturday during lunch hours it wasnt busy at all. They have great location right on Naperville downtown iam hoping it will stay
Ramen is not the best, the ramen inside Mitsuwa still have the best ramen+broth+char sui but considering in Naperville, it is the best!
We ordered three bowl of ramen and a couple app, everything were well prepared. Drinks were so-so and we do like the green tea soft ice-cream!
