Reviews
They include broccoli and carrots in addition to typical onion & zucchini for everyone. Noodles in addition to standard rice. The grilled veggies as entree choice also has bell peppers, mushroom and celery. Ask for the toasted sesame seeds – yum!
Chef and server were great. Small wait on a Tuesday night without reservation.
Pricier than the average outing, but worth it.
Best filet I’ve had in a long time
Reasonable prices
Even the water was noticeably good, and I hate drinking water.
The only things I didn’t like were:
Our waiter was too quiet.
The server didn’t know what “shrimp sauce” is and said they didn’t have “yum yum sauce.” The 1 of 2 sauces they did have which was similar was a little off. Yeah, we’re from the east coast, so I don’t expect it to be exactly the same out here.
He ordered slamon and mahi manhi and salmon. The salmon in my opinion wasn’t bad, because I like West Coast salmon – it was flaky but very salty. The mahi mahi was an undesired mystery. I ordered chicken and steak. The chicken I had had the texture of rubber, and the steak was cooked as medium well, nearly well-done. I had asked for medium. The rice and noodles also have no flavor. On the bright side, the spring rolls and miso soup were not bad.
Had we not been so hungry, I would have had my steak re-made to medium. The food was not close to being a value for the money and I don’t recommend this place.
Eating here again for the umpteenth time. Love this place.
