just went to Ichiban Sushi & Hibachi Buffet and gotta say — overall it was pretty awesome! The place has so much food — sushi, hibachi, seafood, Chinese dishes — all in one spot! I love that variety, it’s comfort food heaven. Sometimes the buffet line looked a little messy though, especially when it got busy, but they were always topping it up . The hibachi grill was super fun, and sushi actually tasted fresh—even though buffets usually freak me out.
My only gripe? The restroom area needs work, stuff like broken soap dispensers and lukewarm water kinda throws off the vibe . But honestly, the staff was friendly and kept things moving, and prices are great for Charlotte ️.
Not perfect, but still a solid spot for a casual hangout with tons of options and decent flavor. Would come back! ✌️

Stayed at a nearby hotel who recommended this place. Glad they did! I didn’t know it was very close to the airport.
Friendly customer service. The food was pretty good. To be fair I did come in the last hour before closing. So the food on the buffet was not the freshest, but from the items I did choose, it was DELICIOUS! I had fried shrimp with the head on, and black pepper chicken. I will come back during business hours to check them out. Lastly, it was $5.99 a pound for no seafood items, and $6.99 a pound if you got seafood. Total was $20 for great portions. Ambiance is family friendly. Restaurant was VERY CLEAN. If in the area, try them and tell me your thoughts.

Great spot for both sushi and hibachi. The sushi was fresh and well made, with good portions and clean flavors, and the hibachi was cooked perfectly—tender meat, crisp veggies, and fried rice that was seasoned just right. Everything came out hot and quickly.
Service was friendly and attentive, the restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Prices felt fair for the quality and portion size.

The food was good I did have an item that was cold. The staff was polite however my glass did go empty and I was waiting for someone to notice for a few minutes. The sushi was fresh. I’m glad to see the fountain in service but no fish and or coins. The restroom was clean. Sure I will come again.

I actually don’t mind this restaurant. Lots of options to choose from with a decent selection of seafood options. Having hibachi/Mongolian grill is very nice and tasted pretty good. The atmosphere is nonchalant, pretty basic. But you get good value for what you pay.

Can I just tell you.. this was hands down a great place to eat. The outside does not give the place Justice. It looks a little run down outside but as soon as you walk in the door damn it’s beautiful it’s clean it looks great. Lots and lots of fresh food. Some stuff that I typically get at other Chinese buffets are just burnt or hard or crispy or whatever. Was not at this place. So if you really want to good place to eat you should check it out. Absolutely, hands down, 100% THE BEST Chinese buffet I have ever experienced in my life! If your thinking about coming here, DO IT you won’t want to miss out. The attention to detail from food to decor to service it was all amazing from start to finish. I’ve been in the restaurant industry my entire life and have always been turned off by the low quality of buffets in general.

The service was awesome The food was good it wasn’t too crowded I really enjoyed myself Good place to go Price was a little high but overall worth it. The quality inn service, The server kept our glasses full she moved any plates that was finished and the place was clean. I had items from this the hibachi bar I also has sushi rolls and I had some lo mein with chicken and broccoli and stewed mushrooms. Last but not least all the food was fresh.
