Ichiban Sushi Grill has become our go to sushi place since moving to Shreveport. It’s not the best ever but it’s pretty good for the area. We’ve only take out so I cannot speak for their service in the restaurant. We’ve tried multiple sushi rolls and lunch bento special. So far we haven’t had anything we didn’t like from them though!

I’ve given this place its last chance. Years of inconsistency, subpar, frozen, chewy fish, on top of the prices are just too much. The only thing they’ve ever had going for them is their waitstaff who are always wonderful to interact with. I ordered a sushi and roll combo with two additional rolls this time. The “sushi” was far too large for the amount of poorly formed, unsticky “sticky” rice. It was slimy, chewy, and once again, clearly not fresh fish. I’m out. For what it’s worth, the rolls were decent, but the rice fell apart as soon as s it touched soy sauce.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Staff changes constantly. In 2years of randomly trying this place not once has a single order not been messed up. I can’t count the number of times someone’s food was missing from a pick up up order yet I was charged for it and had to go back to get it. It really isn’t difficult to make sure ALL the items ordered are in the bag. Then you get an attitude when you return to pick up your missing food. Sorry, my other family members wanted their dinner.

It’s been years since I have been. We had three various roles and a bento dinner box. Sushi was pretty good as was the service. Casual atmosphere. They could use some (minute) renovations/repairs and a good cleaning.

Very disappointed by this experience. Food was really bad. The flavor profiles were all off. Our server didn’t know the food and when ordering gave wrong information and was slow in service.

Sushi rolls fell apart immediately, udon was over cooked and under seasoned. The worst part is the unfiltered water. The nasty tap taste was overwhelming in glass water, tea and soup. However, our server, Alec, was very professional and did a fantastic job!
