The place was great! Had reserved a table for a large group. The ambience music and atmosphere was great. The dumplings were good but was very lightly flavored. Their house hot sake was not something of a quality that was very enjoyable. And the waitress lacked knowledge of the menu. Their sushi was decent though.

Superb! Hands down our favorite Sushi place. Relaxed, good for quiet date night or for the family. Prices are average, We usually spend around $100 with a tip. The food never disappoints! We usually get a few staples: Dream Roll, Tropical Mango Roll, Crazy Roll. We usually get a fourth but like to switch it up depending on our mood or how adventurous we are! We got 4 rolls and Curry Mei-Fun and spent exactly $100. You could eat for less absolutely but we choose not to.

We always love coming to Ichiban on mondays from 5-7 for half-off sushi. There are about ten rolls to choose from, always quality ingredients and great service. If you’re not a sushi lover, their teriyaki chicken is wonderful!

I’d like to try a few more dishes one a future visit, but so far everything was very good. from the miso soup to the house salad and the house roll and then some, would keep eating as it was all very satisfying and filling.

We are lucky to have a chance to be introduced by my relatives to Achiban Sushi Bar and Asian Cuisine. We enjoyed the food and the environment there very much. Sushi is fresh and delicious. The service is great and the staff are very nice. We like the decorations in Traditional Japanese style too.

This place is great! The sushi rolls are extremely generous with the amount of fish they put in it. My wife says the hand roll is awesome. You have to try that! The Tokyo roll is good. Definitely give it a shot. However, the calamari is not the same. It’s almost like a bona fide onion ring anymore sauce is still good but calamari isn’t. I’d stay away from it, but that’s just me. Overall great service. That’s the calamari in the picture. Stay away from it.

This place has really gone downhill over the years if not to say it has reached the bottom! The food is definitely subpar, and that used to be the reason I went to eat here. My wife and I had a horrible experience, not once, not twice, but three times! We will definitely not be going back! The food is overpriced and definitely not very good. The waiter was hovering over us and trying to take our plates when there was still food on them. There are many more places on the south side of Indy to visit. I would definitely not recommend this one!

Beautiful place! Me and my husband shared the gyoza aka 6pc pork dumplings. Then we shared shrimp tempura roll, california roll, and angies roll. Angies roll was GREAT! All in all the food across the board was excellent. I had Friday special $3.95 Bahama mama. Great service all around from several people. We will be back.

New Year Eve, Eve dinner. Had a Groupon for over a year, and it was extended because of the virus. Today, it was too expire. So I treated myself to dinner. I got everything I got last time except for 2 other dishes. The shrimp udon noodles, and the special roll Fire Roll.
The tempura appetizer again I changed out the broccoli and onion for zucchini and sweet potato.
I also did the chef choice sushmi which had the salmon, tuna, and this time red snapper.
Spicy Crab hand Roll, was a amazing. I think tasted better than last time.
The Fire Roll special came out on fire which was really cool. It was shrimp tempura inside with raw fish on top in a spicy mayo, and eel sauce.
My other half got the Shrimp Udon noodles, he is not a big sushi fan. I tried it, the shrimp was very plump, and moist, not rubbery or chewy. The flavor of the dish was so good.
He also got the California Roll, he liked it, to me its boring. If you are a sushi lover that is not the Roll you buy. Just my opinion.
Lastly, I wanted sake as a treat for the year. I had not eaten sushi in over 10 months. They let me try the coconut and the black label sake. For a little more money you can get the bottle instead of a large. I asked if you can take the bottle home. YES YOU CAN TAKE IT HOME. that was an easy decision.
I thought they closed at 10pm.. they closed at 9pm. I don’t know the waiter name, because Annie had taken over which I didn’t know. They didn’t tell you the kitchen was closing if you wanted to order anything else. How I found out, was everyone was starting to leave, and I said we are done if they wanted to start cleaning up. She said they were already cleaning up and the kitchen was closed. Ok.
Happy New Year! Goodbye 2020, thank goodness.

My family has been coming here for sushi for over a decade, and it’s still just as fresh and delicious. That’s how you know a restaurant is good quality. Best sushi on the southside, and it’s not even close.
