Ichiban Sushi took over the location of Ho Ho Gourmet in Bountiful. They have maintained many of the same Chinese menu items, and have added a sushi menu. This makes it a great option for families or friends who are divided on the deliciousness of sushi.
The restaurant atmosphere is cleaned up a lot. It feels good to sit down at the tables, and chat. The lighting is improved some, and all dishes are new and clean.
We were waited on very well by the staff. They come by often to fill drinks and take away plates. I will and have recommended this restaurant to family and friends. It is a great addition to Bountiful’s ever expanding restaurant options.

Please keep good restaurants in Bountiful by supporting this gem. The Sushi is great. We were there on a Friday night and I was pleased to see some customers, but not enough. If you are a fan of Japanese sushi, this is a great local option.

My husband and I have eaten at a few different discount sushi places and this one is every bit as good. Service was good and super fast. We were in and out of there in a half hour. For the price, the food is amazing and portions are huge. I got a soda and when they gave us the check I asked for a refill and he brought it back in a to-go cup, which I really appreciated. We also got potstickers, and it said it came with 6 but really it was 8 so that was another plus! We will definitely go back.

GREAT prices, good sushi. You can easily satisfy your sushi craving at an affordable price. Friendly service. Will give 5 stars when they start serving alcohol. (I guess they are still working on acquiring a liquor licence) Gotta have my Saki & Beer with my sushi!! Will absolutely come back!!

I’ve been twice, first time the sushi was great, second time the sushi wasn’t nearly as good. The people I was with enjoyed the Chinese both times.
The atmosphere inside is nice for a quick eat, not super fancy but definitely a sit down place.
Would recommend for the Chinese, probably not the sushi as it’s too hit or miss.

The sushi here is great, and at fantastic prices. Would absolutely recommend. I’d give them 5 stars if the service wasn’t so slow. Once you order the sushi chef can create your order quickly, but getting someone to come over and take your order can be difficult.

You get what you pay for. In this case you get, at best, small portions of mediocre sushi for a low price. I won’t be going back. You are much better off going to Smith’s down the street and eat grocery store sushi. Dead serious. The interior of the restaurant is run down and unpleasant. The staff was quite unfriendly. I went with low expectations and still left feeling like I’d been taken. Won’t be going back.
