So disappointed here! We come to this place because we love beef brisket w/ tendon as their menu says,but it does not,we can’t even finish the soup that taste bland.Beef meat & trife are chewy!

First time here and it honestly exceeded all expectations! Definitely will be coming back. The late hours are amazing, especially in Burlington where not many places stay open late at night. Portions are generous and affordable. We dined in … I loved the lemon water they served (nice touch), and they even offered us a Boba on the house, which was absolutely delicious. For two people, just one appetizer and one ramen was more than enough to share. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was kind and attentive, and overall it just felt like such a gem. Parking is a little tricky but plenty enough in the surrounding neighborhoods… Might have to walk a little bit, but nothing wrong with that. Always good to have more steps 🙂 oh and vegan friendly options!

This is the best spot for the perfect late night meal. Jason is always so accommodating and eager to serve his delicious food! Ichiban has become a staple for us in Burlington. We love everything we have ever ordered. Not to mention, just how kind & friendly Jason (owner) is. Ignore any negative review. It’s just not true for Ichiban. A guaranteed delicious and welcoming meal day or night is waiting for you!

Best meal I’ve had this year. I’ve never had such flavorful wonderful low oil fried rice. Perfection. The Takoyaki was absolutely perfect. The seaweed salad and edamame last seconds . We also had the seafood rice noodle dish and the chicken shrimp hibachi and everything was perfectly on point. The oysters were juicy and to die for and the white fish was perfect. Even the soup and salad were incredible. The soup was a creamy bone broth with lovely mushrooms and the endless tea and delicious lemon water were perfect palate cleansers. I really need everyone to go here. They need to succeed because it’s the best Japanese food in the greater Burlington area, full stop.

Great mom and pop dinner spot! Brought my girlfriend and we actually really enjoyed, not only our food, but our service. The guy serving us was super polite, very charismatic, and definitely hard working.

I’ve gotten some consistently good food here late at night. I don’t think any other local asian food spot scores as high as Ichiban. The hibachi is well made with good ingredients, the shrimp was large and tender, the side salad and soup are a superb touch to make it feel like a meal. The vegetable quality in the salad here is rare at restaurants in general – crispy lettuce and happy tomato slices
Overall, great job Ichiban and keep making fresh food with fresh ingredients. People can tell!

Really delicious hibachi served super fast. Fun atmosphere with Japanese art and bopping music. Highly recommend seaweed salad, but not the edamame (seasoned but too starchy). Low-key, no reservation needed. Service was considerate; they instantly brought us a water pitcher, and towels when we accidently spilled some : D – double check your order as they took it by memory and forgot our appetizers until after the main courses

Staff were super nice but the food was as good as mall food. Ive literally had the same teriyaki chicken and veg for a 3rd of the price at a mall. The sushi was $5.5/piece lol! Each soda was $3.50 with zero refills. The udon chicken soup had no flavour. I have no idea how this is such a popular place to eat when its really not good at all and its so expensive. Im Japanese BTW.

I have ordered doordash twice from here, the Ramen is really good and tastes authentic. Shumai and seaweed salad also really good. Love their bag and the Japanese graphics on the container and the bag, so reminiscent of Kyoto. The food is delicious, doesn’t disappoint and their portions are good sized.
