Tried Ichiban off of cave mill for the first time on evening. There were a few other patrons but it wasn’t packed, especially not for a Thursday evening. Service was really slow, might have been one waiting tables. Took a good while to get drinks, then our food ordered. After a half hour our food finally arrived and we enjoyed sushi and noodle dishes. The sushi was very good, had a great presentation and taste was excellent. The noodle dishes were sub par. Taste was mediocre and the meat was tough. After eating for a while I took a bite from the middle of the plate and found it to be so hot it nearly burned. Likely an indicator of microwaving. Overall not a big fan of the experience here. Plenty of options for similar style foods.

We have been eating here nearly 6 years now and have always had great service with excellent food at decent prices. It seems the portions are a little smaller now than in the past. Great place for Hibachi if you don’t want to be seated grill side. Seated quickly even with a full parking lot.

Wanted to try Ichiban for a while and finally stopped in. The place was clean, and the servers were attentive. Many of the nigri seafood options were not available, nor was the beer I selected. The sushi roll and the few nigri pieces I did decide on were soft and acceptable, but the portion of rice on nigri was too large. The vegetable entree with rice and sweet carrots was mostly on par with other budget Japanese steakhouses, although my carrots were too sweet if there is such a thing, and my vegetables had more cabbage filler than actual veggies. The rice and yum yum sauce was the best part of the entree. I think the sushi has the potential to be good if you get one of the large rolls. Overall, it was just okay for the price.

We go here a lot and we always have a good experience! Today we got the California roll, Las Vegas rolls, fried rice, a side of broccoli, lemonade and a water. It was $32.65. It filled us up and we have left overs. I also really enjoy the edamame. Also the Las Vegas roll is huge!!

Drinks took around 20 minutes to receive. Food took 1 hour. It was not busy (4 tables) and they never checked in on us. The food that was delivered was slightly (noodles) warm on the outside and 3rd degree burn hot at its center. This normally indicates microwaving. Whether the food was sitting too long to be served and they heated it up or prepared that way. The taste of the food was mediocre at best. We will not be back at this establishment.

Ate here March 6th, 2023 at around 1:30 pm The food was awesome! Had the shrimp fried rice with extra potatoes and chicken lo mein and man, everything there was awesome! Highly recommend eating here if you want your Japanese food fix!

We Love our Japanese food, and decided to try Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse! We had one of the best meals in a long time! Everything we ordered was delicious, and our service was Wonderful! We’ve never ordered a boat before… So we did. It was so impressive! Such a Beautiful array, and each piece of sushi was unique and delicious! And honestly, we loved their rice! Wonderful flavor! I Highly recommend Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse!

I wasn’t impressed and this was my 1st time and I won’t be back. The salad was the best thing! The chicken fried rice the rice was barely fried and the chicken was just placed on top and it didn’t blend well together. The Las Vegas Roll had something different in it than what I’m used to and it wasn’t tasty.

Great sushi at a reasonable price. They have the best egg/spring rolls. Service is hit and miss at times but I’m rarely ever in too big a hurry when it comes to good sushi.
