Ichiban Hibachi on Georgesville is one of those spots that never disappoints. Every visit feels like a treat — the food, the service, and the value are all consistently impressive. The prices are really reasonable, especially considering the quality and generous portions you get. One of my personal favorites is their clear soup — it’s light, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I always go for a double serving instead of the salad because it’s just that good.
My usual go-to order is the steak and shrimp combo with their egg yolk sauce, which is absolutely amazing and adds such a rich, buttery flavor to the meal. On my most recent visit, I decided to switch it up and try the scallops for the first time, and I was definitely not disappointed. They were cooked perfectly — tender, juicy, and seared just right.
The hibachi chefs are always entertaining and friendly, making the dining experience fun from start to finish. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Whether you’re there for a casual dinner or a special occasion, Ichiban always delivers. Great food, great prices, and great vibes — it’s definitely one of my favorite places to eat in the Georgesville area.

My wife and I went on Valentine’s Day and boy was this not a happy evening. To me, they seemed to be under staffed, especially for that day. We sat at a regular table and not at the fancy table with the chef doing all the tricks. But hell, we should have. A group of 4 came in after us, went to the fancy table, and left before us…and we didn’t even have our appetizers yet. Our entrees took FOREVER to come, and then wasn’t even all that. The lady that was our server was nice tho. I’ll give them that. We will return for the bar and their apps. Those were good.

We use to frequent here, but it’s been probably 6 months since we were here last & honestly I thought they’d be going out of business soon. Let me just say they’ve sure stepped up their game. The chef was fantastic! Very entertaining and the young grandkids LOVED it! Even used props and it was very funny. Food was wonderful! And very generous portions. We will definitely be back.

The steak was tender and flavorful, and the chicken was just as good — both had great seasoning and spice. The Yum Yum and ginger dressings were delicious. The staff is friendly and welcoming, although service can sometimes take a little longer than expected.
One thing to note: a 15% gratuity is automatically added to every check, regardless of party size, so there’s no need to tip unless you want to add more. They also charge $1.50 more per entrée than what’s listed on the menu, with only a small paper sign on the front door mentioning this.
Without the automatic gratuity and hidden upcharge, this place would easily be a four- or five-star experience based on the food alone. However, the pricing transparency brings the overall rating down.

The best food ever and lots of it too! They have a lot of meat and veggie options to choose from and price was excellent for the amount of the main dish you get. The chef that came to our table to cook the right in front of us was very friendly, funny and talented with his egg flipping and cooking skills! Definitely will go again!

I had sushi, it made me very ill. Maybe bad fish, weird tasting soy sauce? Unknown. I was also charged $3.49 for a $.02 tea bag and hot water. *Hot tea is free at most Asian restaurants. Many times before, hot tea was free. Not sure what is happening here but…I’ll not be back.

A fun place to grab some hibachi style food. They have great chefs that enjoy showing off their moves. The food is also pretty good. If it is your birthday they will take a photo and bring out a cute pineapple treat.
