We had reservations for 16 but the lady at the counter kept deliberately overlooking (walking around) my groups “host” and seating people ahead of us. We had two separate waitresses and two separate cooks. That was fine given the setup, but the waitresses came at separate times and didn’t communicate. Half of us had our drinks, soups, and salads before the other half were even acknowledged. The food was fine, but then the bills came. THEY CHARGE SEPARATELY FOR THE SOUP AND SALAD THAT NO ONE ASKED FOR AND AN AUTOMATIC 10% GRATUITY ON TOP OF THAT. The cooks seemed miserable and only did bare minimum.
There were two of us with shellfish allergies, but they didn’t bother to separate anything. Thank God our group, by chance, split accordingly and our table didn’t order shellfish.
For the cost of this meal, we should have gone down a couple of doors. Same setup and food, but better tasting food, better service, and better “show.” AND if you have any kind of allergy, they take care and cook that meal away from the others.
Buyer beware, indeed.

What a great experience hands down without a doubt the best hibachi restaurant I have ever been to the service was incredible from the point where we walked in to the time that we were leaving the staff was extremely attentive. I was very very impressed. My friend and I had a wonderful meal. I ate the steak chicken and shrimp and my friend had shrimp and scallops I believe our meal was around $50. I was super impressed at the end of the mill when the server brought out a tray of sauces allowing us to choose which ones we needed with our food we were taking to go. Little things like that separate the difference between a marginal restaurant and a great restaurant. I would definitely definitely recommend this Hibachi to locals and travelers alike

As others have stated, prices are up, and the portions are down. I’ll agree about the fried rice. I’m not sure it’s worth the charge. Everything tasted great. Drinks were always full. The chef could’ve performed a better show.

I’ve been going here all my life because the food is amazing, owners are very sweet and they have the secret sauce to fried rice! No one else in Chattanooga has as good of fried rice, filet, or hibachi chicken as they do. We ALWAYS choose this one over the other one on hixson pike. All fees are listed on the menu, so don’t listen to some of these Negative Nelly’s on here.

I have been to many hibachi restaurants all over the country and the food here is some of the best tasting hibachi I have ever had. It isn’t the fanciest place, nor the most elaborate show or anything but it is absolutely amazing food. No sushi like a lot of hibachi places, but what they do they do very well.

Great little Japanese hibachi restaurant. Been there several times over the past 20+ years. The food is really good for the dine-in experience. I’ve never ordered take-out, but the experience is half the reason to go (the other half is the amazing food). It’s a bit pricey, but you get a lot of food. The location isn’t sparkling or new, but it is quality.
