Was really great. They have a huge menu and selection. A lot of different things not avaliable in this area. We had 2 sushi rolls, and 2 appetizers. The food was really good, service was fast and on point. Our waitress was sweet and very nice. Place wasnt packed but it was a Monday night. I can imagine on a weekend it gets very busy. There is limited seating. We will be back to try other things on the menu.

We were excited to try this new sushi spot in Hallsville after seeing their Facebook post — welcome to the neighborhood! We ordered beef lo mein, chicken fried rice, spicy tuna (in rice paper), a Volcano Roll, a Hallsville Roll, dumplings, plus miso soup and salad.
The food was fresh and everything was cooked well. The miso soup and dumplings were especially good, and I’d definitely order the soup again. The rolls were fresh, though the Volcano Roll wasn’t spicy like I expected.
My main issue was that the beef, chicken, and fried rice were pretty bland and seemed under-seasoned. It may be great for someone who prefers lighter flavors, but I personally missed that savory hibachi-style taste.
Since they’re new, I’d be willing to give them another try and see how things develop. Wishing them success in Hallsville!

Called in an order, was told 25 min wait, 30 min past, got to the restaurant and waited for almost an hour for my order still, understood completely, second day open, kinks and what nots will happen. I ordered steak chicken & shrimp fried rice, chicken and shrimp hibachi and Texas roll.. Was hardly any meat in my fried rice, hibachi was so very bland, very little veggies, Texas roll was full of cream cheese, nothing else inside of it. The soup was straight out the package chicken broth, nothing else added. 2 plates + 1 sushi roll, $62… As excited as I was for us locals to have something new & different in town I’d rather drive the 10-15 miles and spend that kind of money somewhere that has flavor.

As someone who knows what Japanese food is supposed to taste like, this place is by far the best I’ve had since moving over here.

We ordered some calamari, steak & chicken hibachi, and a couple rolls. Food tasted great and came out in a timely manner. Service was solid and consistently came to check on us. Can’t wait to come back
