It was a great experience at Ichiban! The service was great, the food was great, and our chef Noel and our server Monroe were excellent!! Monroe was very attentive, kept our drinks full, and was very kind. The hibachi chef Noel was very friendly, funny, and had a great personality overall. The meal he prepared for us was the best my family has ever had from there. Request to have them if you go!

Outstanding experience on Christmas Day 2025! We went for Hibachi Christmas Night and they were busy! The staff was very well equipped to manage the influx of diners this evening. We were greeted with a smile and sat our party of 5 (that included a toddler) quickly at a very clean Hibachi table. You can always tell the cleanliness of these restaurants by the hibachi hood vent condition and they were CLEAN! Our server took our drink, sushi and hibachi order quickly and correctly! Our server was personable and attentive. The chef was skilled, entertaining and produced a sensational meal for the entire family. They really catered to the toddler, making sure he had what he needed to be happy which allowed the adults to enjoy our delicious meals. The steak was cooked to our likings (rare and well done), chicken was also incredibly flavorful. The veggies and fried rice were made to perfection, the sushi came out quickly and the hot Saki was delicious and HOT! We really enjoyed all of the sensational people that worked here, as Ichiban truly made our family experience a very Merry Christmas.

I already believe that everyone knows that their food is amazing but I want to especially highlight they’re amazing customer service. When I went I ordered the sushi special which comes with a special Sushi and a free extra Roll Along with it so amazing prices and the quality did not disappoint as it tasted amazing. And one of the waiters ran outside to ensure that I got it showing their great customer service and friendliness!

Highly recommend Ichiban in Foley. Our server was excellent. She was prompt in bringing out menus and taking our order. We ordered 6 rolls and she had them out in 15-20 minutes which is fast for that many rolls. The sushi was excellent and beautifully presented. She kept our drinks filled and checked on us multiple times. We will definitely go back.

We love this place! It’s a little bit of a drive, but we come when we can. It’s probably the best Hibachi place I have ate at. The chefs are fun! The lunch prices are nice so you can bring the entire family.

We go at least once a week and have rarely ever had a bad experience. The sushi is always amazing and so is the service! The food is consistently delicious. Best sushi I’ve had out here in over 5 years!
Also, if you claim to have been here multiple times and had a good experience, why are you now deciding to leave a bad review just because you had one bad experience? In that situation, just address the issues with your server or a manager right then and there to try and find a resolution. Leaving a bad review for a small business is horrible when it could’ve been addressed using common communication skills

We went for my sons birthday. Greeted quickly and sat. Service was friendly and attentive. We had sushi as an appetizer, the rolls were fresh and well made. The peak of dinner was definitely the chef. He came out with A smile and was friendly and funny as he cooked. Dinner was terrific. They came out and the staff sang happy birthday to my son. We have been here several times and keep coming back because it is good all around, every time.
