Which are you looking for? Hibachi? Sushi bar? Doesn’t matter, this place has both and both are great. The hibachi grill is really good and what I liked about it was we didn’t have a full table and it seemed as if we were given extra rice and veggies. I also ordered sushi with advice from the waitress! She made a great recommendation! I would recommend this spot 10/10 times to anyone.

THEY DON’T CARE, JUST GREEDY TO MAKE A BUCK. We were seated by the manager in the table next to smelly restrooms when they had plenty of tables available on a Monday eve. We chose another table. We ordered sushi and teriyaki chicken. The food arrived 30 minutes later even thought the place is almost empty. Shrimp tempura shrimp has hardly any shrimp and some tempura batter has no shrimp inside (see photos). I sent it back. Soy plates were dirty (see photos). Faith, the server, forgot to bring me clean soy plates. I had to remind her 10 minutes later. Another 5 minutes and no signs of her. I grabbed a clean plate from another table. I asked for forks and she left them on the edge of the table, like self-service…Why need a server and be charged 15% tip? My son loves chicken teriyaki but wouldn’t eat the one we ordered here. So I tried it and it was hard and dry. I had to spit it out. I sent it back. I asked for the manager and she apologized and told me not to worry about the bill, that she would take care of it. I would have rather have a good experience.

My 1st time eating here in Pearl, MS and it was well worth it. The ambiance was lovely. The staff were very helpful and polite. The place was clean, there was a short wait before being seated for it to be a Saturday evening. Though my chicken was a bit overcooked, the meal overall was delicious. I substituted the fried rice with noodles and had a side vegetable spring rolls. It was sad good pick that I would try out again.

The waiter was sweet, the cook was rude and unconcerned. My daughter and I stopped by for dinner after we left the movies. We both chose the shrimp hibachi. When I received my total. It was $73.00, this was an automatic 15% gratuity, tax, and total for one meat with rice and veggies. I usually never complain about the cost of food, but this was awful. The rice was under cooked, shrimp over cooked and for the veggies, seems like just onions. I didn’t want to write the review, but I had to. I will not be back

Ichiban in Pearl was a great choice for Hibachi. To start, the entry was very inviting and luxurious. The staff greeted as we walked in the door, and we were seated immediately. Given the time of day we visited (early afternoon), I can not speak on how busy they may be during peak hours. The waitress was attentive and prompt with our requests. The chef was at the cooking station with our selections slightly before receiving the drinks and sides. He confirmed each order, and began prepping immediately. He did not do a full performance which was okay as we were hungry and ready to eat. Once he completed the order and left the table, the table was cleaned within minutes. The restaurant was clean throughout, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area.

The food was pretty good as usual. Have been eating there for several years, with minimal issues that it didn’t warrant any comments. This time we were sat at the hibachi table that very was crowded making it awkward. It was just after 5 pm and at least 5 or 6 tables were completely open. Got salads and soup pretty quick even though they were brought for other customers that wanted something else. Took a while to get a water and a drink. Was done with both by the time we got either.
I’m a cancer survivor so I needed to get up an excuse myself to the bathroom for a minute. When I returned a couple customers at our table was one their way out and it was just my wife and the couple next to her. I guess since my wife was visiting with the other customer and we had taken more than 15 minutes to eat we were asked to leave so the table could be used for more customers. Guess I could understand if people were in line waiting to eat but I scanned the room and at least 5 more tables were empty, so that was completely inappropriate to ask your customers to leave after spending over 100 bucks on a meal.
Thank you Ichiban I have enjoyed your food at both the buffet and the hibachi bar, but if I’m only allowed to use your facility for 15 minutes I may as well go to a fast food place!
Bottom line is food was good, service sucked, waitress was rude and coughing all over us, and asking me to leave after taking a few minutes longer than 15 is unacceptable, especially since “NO-One” was waiting on a seat.

This was delicious! We came here for our daughter’s 12th birthday and it was amazing! We got the chicken with clear soup and thw steak with meso soup. We also had the filet lobster and them were all so good!!

Loved everything about this experience! My first time at one of these, I have been missing out, it was like dinner and a show! Unfortunately we could not get a bottle of wine to celebrate. We sat with 5 other strangers and soon started chatting away. Our chef was very talented and cooked everything just right. The serving is huge, enough to have leftovers.

Great place for groups or couples. The food is delicious and plentiful. My family and me enjoyed the full experience. They have excellent drinks. I don’t think you can choose anything bad here. I highly recommend the liquid Marijuana. You’ll be glad you tried it.

The Decor was by far the best I’ve seen. Elegant at it’s core! The Staff was very pleasant and inviting! The food was tasty. The mixed drinks needs a little more touch of pizazz but overall the experience was great for my 1st encounter. Will definitely revisit!
