This buffet has many offerings: sushi, hibachi, fried foods, seafood, beef, pork, vegetables, fruits, ice cream,and other selections. It is probably the largest (options wise) in north Durham. The food was hot, the table service was quick, and it was clean.
I will be returning, it was good!!! If you like buffets, I feel you will enjoy this one.

Remember that time you’ve been mulching and mowing nonstop and it’s now 5pm and you’ve had nothing? This is the place to appease that beastly appetite. A nasty guilty pleasure kind of place.
They’ve got everything, and lots of seats to fit voracious groups. Great sushi, kanikama, fried plantains, octopus, various types of fish… all sorts of beautiful animals to devour.
It’s ~$15/mouth so a good feeding frenzy option in Durham.
We saw a couple of elderly folks with a mountain of crawfish too, so that’s also an option.

I should’ve known from the exterior, this was not gonna be an enjoyable experience. Waitress was rude, and we felt that we were being rushed. The food was like warm . The only part of the buffet that I had was the hibachi Portion. The guy servicing that station was also very rude. Definitely not worth the trip nor the money. Save your cash and go somewhere else.

Atmosphere looks runs down like it belongs in the 90’s or early 2000’s.
Food was luke warm, probably our fault for coming in at 5pm where all the lunch left overs were still being served. Flavor? Terrible. Anything fried was all batter. Best items were the teriyaki chicken and the white fried rice. Hot and sour soup was okay except it was neither hot nor sour.
Every was mid at best but closer to blech… At 17.99 per adult, I’d save my money and go to Panda Express. If you just want to eat all you want and don’t care about quality or taste, I guess this works but for 17.99? It’s not worth it.
The ice cream was delicious… If you can scoop it out… Hard as a rock. Good Luck!

So much food! Everything I had was hot, tasty and delicious. We ate lunch here on a Monday around 12:30. $11.95 for all you can eat was a good deal. Of course, we ate too much but it was so worth it!
After our drink orders we headed to the hibachi first, to the right. Put in our orders, rice or noodles, chicken, beef, shrimp, lots of vegetables. Then while that was cooking we headed to the food bars.
There was so much selection, I was like a little kid in a candy store. I had three different types of fish, three different types of shrimp, crabmeat, stuffed crab, fried chicken, sautéed mushrooms, fruit and vegetables. Everything was clean, the staff was very friendly. The food trays were heaping full and steaming hot. Did not try the salads or desserts, maybe next time. Forgot to take a picture of the grilled food.
While the booths may be a little worn, they were comfortable. The staff was attentive in taking the dirty plates away, plenty of refills on drinks, friendly and smiling. I loved it! Overall, a wonderful buffet. Will be back for sure.

I’ve been to sushi restaurants that didn’t have as good sushi. The spread was immaculate when I went. Normally I go to China buffet but since they were closed on Sunday I came here.
If you don’t want the wait at Mr.Tokyo then come here for some sushi and nigiri. The hibachi bar was also stellar. I think next time I might just go back here first instead of china buffet.

Great Chinese buffet in Durham. Has Hibachi and Sushi as well. Stopped by for lunch and the price was $10.99 for adult (as of December 2022). Lots of selection (even seafood for lunch) and the food was generally tasty. Mostly Americanized Chinese food though (which is as normally expected). They also have ice cream and dessert stations.

The food has a lot of variety. Staffs are very accomodating. Even if we came during weekend, there is no waiting time. This is our go to place when we can’t decide where to go because everything you ask for is here. I also like that food remain hot here and the staffs come and check you on your table from time to time.
