Really lovely food, a great selection of choices. The tuna sashimi was so delicious it practically melts in your mouth. The service was excellent, even giving my sister a free dessert for her birthday, and singing happy birthday. The vibe inside is lovely and it’s in a great area for people watching. The staff are all cheerful and welcoming. They are also inclusive with gluten free options and other dietary needs. Overall a lovely meal, and experience.

One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had. Staff were attentive, friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious, portions were generous and we didn’t have to wait long. Both Japanese fusion and a Thai menu were available which was great. Also, the restaurant was clean, comfortable and clearly well maintained. Will 100% return!

Ichiban Fusion is an amazinf experience right in the heart of Norwich. When we entered the restaurant, we felt welcomed into a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, where we could enjoy a very and nice experience.
Chef Francisco has a super good talent to cook delicious and tasty food, which we appreciate.
Everything was almost perfect apart from the customer service. Lack of customer service, the fact that they didn’t know the difference between still water and sparkling water, the fact that they gave us wrong change and didn’t even apologise, the approach from the waitress to the customer was not exactly what we were expecting…
Anyway, in the end the experience was good and i do recommend.

The most authentic Japanese and Thai Food you will find Norwich! We have been before for Japanese and had Thai this time and it was just amazing. Our waitresses were great also, Katrina and CJ. I highly recommend anybody to come here.

Terrible experience from start to finish.
The food was awful. Noodles were bland and greasy. Meat was chewy and poorly cooked. Broth tasted weak and artificial. Portions looked messy and careless. Nothing tasted fresh or balanced.
Service was bad. Chef was rude and dismissive. No apology. I ordered ramen and gave me udon. I asked about it and he said, I only have udon, can’t help, just take it away. I don’t have anything else. No effort to fix issues.
The waiter tried to apologise but overall bad experience.
Prices were high for very poor quality. This felt like low grade takeaway food dressed up as something it is not.
I do not understand the positive reviews. This was a complete waste of time and money. I will not return and would not recommend it to anyone.

Wow! This restaurant was genuinely 10/10. I rarely eat out, since I have had numerous experiences of overpriced food, cold food, small portions and poor atmospheres. However, Ichiban Fusion has definitely changed my outlook. Everything about the experience was immaculate: friendly and welcoming staff, a relaxed setting, rich and delicious food, and fair pricing. I was with two friends, who both also thoroughly enjoyed the outing – so we definitely recommend this establishment. Personally, I had the duck Phanaeng curry on egg-fried rice (see photo) – a dinner that tasted straight from the heavens above. I will certainly be returning for more! Thanks all 🙂

Tried this place today for a lunch on impulse and was not disappointed. Clean and tidy restaurant with polite and friendly staff. Food was very reasonably priced for the quantity and was excellent in taste. Didn’t stay for dessert but they looked good. Will be visiting again.

Having had a great meal here before, decided to try and evening meal. Service was really friendly and took time to see what we wanted and how we wanted to customise our meal. Platter that arrived was fabulous. The chef came out at the end to see if we had enjoyed our meal, which we certainly had. High recommendation for a visit.

I enjoyed the chicken katsu curry. The servings were huge! My only disappointment was that on the evening we went, only the Japanese menu was running, as the Thai chef was away. We would like to come back some time and try the Thai menu.
