Love this place ☺️ I have to say that these reviews are misleading. Are they good customers, do they tip? I’m treated wonderfully as I am polite and I appreciate good service by tipping. The food is worth the price. Every time I come to Albany I will stop here. Delicious food, very clean and friendly. I’ve been asked to recommend dishes. I recommend everything! The combination dishes are a great way to sample your first time there. The sushi and rolls are fresh and the best I’ve ever had. I’ve never been disappointed on deliveries or in the restaurant. My only complaint is that I have moved north and out of delivery range. I need to get to Albany more.

Tonight I was well received by a lady who knows customers. I ordered rolls which were very good, but the wasabi needs to be more smooth and liquid.
The dining area is clean and presentation is okay. It is a bit busy on the wall behind the register.
Would recommend there sushi and roll. I am giving a semi vegetarian review. Will check back again to see the all around quality.

Ordered $70 worth of food for pick up. I requested green onions in my hot and sour soup. There was 2 slices. When I went in to confront the owner about it. She showed me a container full of MSG and sparse green onions. Stating that they do not charge extra. Couldn’t find a container. I said forget it andedt. Got home to my daughter finding a gelly like substance in her chow mien. Photo attached. They do not care about customer satisfaction only about the money.

I am giving this place 2 stars because I don’t usually have trouble with delivery but for some reason tonight was the worst. Me and my co-worker ordered food and didn’t get it until just under 2 hours later. I had to call several times to see where it was because I was told over and over again that it was on the way. When I got my food it wasn’t cold but wasn’t hot at all. I ordered Mai fun which I was hoping was worth the wait and it definitely wasn’t! I did enjoy the spicy tuna and salmon tuna rolls I ordered but to be honest this may be the last time I order from this place. Good luck!

Packed perfectly ..no spills! Portions were good & I think it’s reasonably priced..
The delivery driver was very polite! Since COVID started I’ve been ordering out more than usual…most that have delivered were rude..not even a thank you!
So it was nice to have this positive experience!! I’ll definitely be ordering from here again! Thank you.

My husband and I decided to take my parents here from out of town for a nice dinner. MISTAKE. We waited 30 minutes for drinks and then we waited 45 minutes for our food and it wasn’t busy. Sushi, and hibachi all came out at the same time and totally COLD. We are never ones to complain, but we politely asked to have our food remade. The manager comes over and actually bends down to get in my face and was so unbelievably RUDE. If you want hibachi stick to Kani House. Maybe a less nice atmosphere, but at least you won’t have to deal with horrendous service.

This restaurant is mediocre. The sushi was not tasty they made the crab rolls with Miracle Whip and not cream cheese! You could taste the difference! My friend ended up with a stomach bug after eating here. The waitress was not manner able and very impatient. I could have went to the corner store Chinese food take out and got better service with less expensive food!

Today a couple co-workers and I ordered food from Ichiban. Yesterday I ordered from Shotgun Sushi (great food all around btw, felt confident with every bite). What a different quality in presentation and color. I did not feel confident looking at my Sushi today… With every bite I got an adrenaline rush…I thought is this going to make me sick. The food is edible, but I give this advice to Ichiban you can be a hole in the wall and have the busiest restaurant, it is the quality and taste of the food that makes customers say, ” I WANT MORE”… Not shutting their eyes with every bite. As for the Crab Rangoon I ordered they were great!! Nice crispy shell, but like a tear drop of stuffing in side. Most of them were stuck together and snapped in half. I would give them a 5 IF they had an adequate amount of stuffing. After all is the calories from what I am about to eat worth the bite….
