I took my 11 year old son to lunch here on a Friday at around noon. The parking lot was empty so I wasn’t sure if they were open. We went in and they sat us immediately. The waitress arrived quickly to take our order.
My son ordered the black dragon sushi roll and I ordered the lemon chicken and ham fried rice. My chicken can suspiciously fast. It was out faster than my son’s roll. The chicken was pretty dry and chewy. The ham fried rice was ok. The ham flavor was a little over powering. My son said he really like his roll.
The restaurant was dead but still pretty dirty. The walls were dirty. The ceiling was covered in dust.
I could ignore all that with excellent food and a busy staff but really not great to see.
I would not recommend this place unfortunately.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Ichiban for years and have always loved the miso soup and sushi—it’s been one of my favorite spots in Heber. I usually eat here multiple times a week, so it really disappoints me to have to write this.
On more than one occasion, I’ve found hair in my soup. Today, we picked up egg drop soup to go and was disturbed to find two black hairs in it. As a platinum blonde, I know these weren’t mine. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time it’s happened, which makes it even more concerning.
I want to be clear: I’m only writing this because I truly value this restaurant and want to keep coming here. But food safety and cleanliness need to be addressed. If this issue can be taken care of, I would be more than happy to update this review to five stars.

We enjoyed the service and the food. We heard bad things but decided to make our own decisions. I really enjoyed everything. My sushi roll was like a dessert. So fresh and yummy. Next time we come through we will stop again. Yum.

Crab ragoons had a jalapeño shell and was deep-fried. Again unique compared to others.
Won ton soup seemed liked it had Italian sausage for the meat. Definately different.

A great Asian and sushi restaurant in downtown Heber! It was a clean dining area, fast service and good food. We ordered a bunch of sushi rolls and a lunch portion of orange chicken. The rolls were delicious, well prepared and fresh! The nigiri has a few pieces of hard rice in them, but nothing too bad. The rolls we tried were snow crab and avocado, Utah (of course), some yellowtail and a very delicious roll called a Hawaiian. It was almost like a dessert roll with mango, fish eggs and a creamy sauce. Got to try it.
Roll prices are competitive to other places in Utah county, but they have a section of rolls that are $5 each and another section of rolls that are 50% off, making them around $7-$8 if you just want to add some rolls to another meal. Rolls on the ‘discount’ menu are just as complex, beautiful and delicious as the $15 rolls. The lunch portion of orange chicken was just as good as the sushi! So if you have a person in the group (our kids) that doesn’t enjoy sushi, there are still plenty of dishes for them to choose from.

Love all there vegan vegetarian sushi rolls! Such a great inexpensive sushi spot with the $5 roll specials! My kids love it here!

While the Butterfly & Lion King Rolls & service were great , the Cashew Chicken, Orange chicken, Egg Drop Soup & Salmon Teriyaki were OK. Maybe it was a texture thing (batter on chicken dishes were not crispy), just didn’t seem to have much flavor . On the other hand, the Kung Pao Shrimp was HOT just like our waiter Wayne explained LOL & my husband prefers spicey… He couldn’t finish it . Nice & clean atmosphere, handicap accessible & off street parking.

I ordered in the store and these guys were lighting fast. My two appetizers came out in no time followed by a box of eel teriyaki. Overall great and affordable appetizers with extremely fast service.

Got here at 4:00 pm on a Tuesday and Service was quick and our order well received. Appetizers and the Main both came out in around 5-10 minutes and quality exceeded my expectation. The setting was clean and the food was well presented! The sashimi was definitely top notch.
Their menu is also very extensive, so Ill be coming back to try more things.
