I honestly don’t know why this place was rated higher than the other option I was choosing between. It was my first time in, I was exhausted and dizzy, and I felt rushed by the counter guy. To his credit, he did give me free water. My chicken was kind of fatty, the orange chicken was soggy, and there was way more orange chicken than teriyaki. My husband said the beef was better than the other place. Maybe I caught them on a weird day. I’d try it again, but it feels really spendy for what you get…it’s chicken and rice.

We got the “CB-2”, which is the beef, chicken, and gyoza plate. It was SO good!
The complimentary egg flower soup was also delicious.
Will definitely make this our GO TO Teriyaki spot!
Music was a little loud, but bearable.

This new owner has made this place a disaster rude as can be not only to us but her own husband which I assume to be the cook. For spending 85 dollars for 3 meals the least can be done is make the orders correct and not hassle the customer with the glares. Not a good way to join the community.

Great food for acceptable prices. Been going here for years and no complaints. However, the newest owners very recently redid the interior and it is atrocious. Cold LED track lights and two massive tvs completely ruined the vibe. Take out only for me from now on.

There are great people behind the line, and the prices are not too bad, I think. When you consider how much you get. But Great food. And the egg flour soup while you wait is a nice touch.

Great food, freshly made, hot when served and big portions. The tables were clean, bathroom clean and plenty of parking. Staff was very nice. Owner was very nice too. Prices were reasonable. I am definitely going back. We had the T5 spare ribs and CB2 chicken, beef and gyoza.
02.04.19: eaten here a few times since the original post. Definitely consistent with their food. Fresh, hot, big portions and overall taste is great.

Tell me why I got a chicken teriyaki bowl here and the owner charged me 18.79. I said wait I thought they were $12, he points at the menu and says “it’s right there respect the price” I said “oh I just hadn’t realized they went up so much.” So why is it that at the Ichi teriyaki in Orchards they’re 11.99? And they actually have a website with prices. Scam?

Best Teriyaki place in Vancouver and possibly the entire Portland Metro area. Fast service, large portions, great food at a very reasonable price. My go to place.

So they close at 9 we arrived at 8:35, they didn’t seem happy about it the looks on their faces… the front counter lady looks at the cook and they whisper to each other, then the counter lady instantly turns back at us and says “we don’t have chicken” we still ordered one dish to go, food was cooked and we were out way before 9. only to get home and find multiple long hairs. Will be calling management following day.
