I have dined here for over 12 years. On Saturday Jan 24, 2026 I hosted a Celebration of Life for my husband. Ichabods was the first place we met to have a meal before we started dating. Long story. We knew each other many years but both lost our spouses to cancer and ended up together. Anyway, there were about 15 people in attendance, plus my husband’s furry best friend a Yorkie Mix named Archie. Our servers were Amber and Nicole. The person who helped coordinate our event her name is Erin. I can tell you everything went smoothly. My husband was an Veteran if the United States Airforce. The color guard came and did a Flag-Folding Ceremony, which was beautifully done. They played Taps as well. We had one long table. The booths along the wall were open to other patrons. We held our event at 2 p.m. to reduce the risk of a lunch or dinner rush. There were three other tables of guests. Every one stood in honor even though they were not a guest of ours. It was nice to see.
I couldn’t have asked for better service. They brought appetizers out at the perfect time. I asked for them to wait for me to let them know when to start taking orders and they accomodated my requests. Once the orders were taken then food for all guests came out together perfectly. I offered a full open menu and bar for my guests. The servers kept drinks filled and coming. The bartender was prompt in filling all drink requests. We were never rushed and allowed to sit and visit after we were done eating. I’m very aware of my surroundings and would have left if I felt we were holding tables too long, I’d never hold up a servers income potential and if I felt we did I’d tip extra to compensate for such.
If you have an event and are considering Ichabods I would highly recommend them. They were recommended to me by a friend of mine who held her moms celebration of life there. With it being the place my husband and I first ate plus her recommendation I chose Ichabods. I have received several texts and phone calls from our guests complimenting our event and the service.
Five stars to me means I wouldn’t change a thing, the service was excellent and food was excellent.
***I want to add something that probably only made me smile. Ichabods always have a daily specials menu on a loose insert in the menu. On this particular day the first item listed was Stuffed Cabbage Rolls. The moment I saw it I smiled and felt like it was a sign my husband was there. He loved stuffed cabbage. I would make him stuffed cabbage rolls or a cabbage soup which was basically cabbage rolls in soup form, I grew up eating my grandmas recipe for what she called “Cabbage and Rice” soup. Rice is served on the side so you can add as much or as little as you want or none at all, which is how I like it. Anyway seeing stuffed cabbage rolls made me smile.
Thank you to the complete team over at Ichabods (servers, bartenders, cooks, coordinatior, bussers and anyone I failed to mention) who made the Celebration of Life for my loving husband a wonderful experience. A Celebration of Life can be very emotional and stressful and you all made this day much easier for me. I know my husband would have been happy with everything. I can’t thank you enough. I will absolutely use your restaurant again for any event.

So Icabod‘s is definitely old old Vegas. It has a lot of stuff in there to look at. If you want to get an old Vegas type of feel with some very friendly service go here. The food is pretty good. The prices are good. The bartenders mix an excellent drink. They usually put one male and one female bartender, so you can get flirted with equally. There’s definitely no age discrimination.
The reason I go here is there is a Frank Sinatra impersonator that regularly performs here and he’s my buddy. But I don’t go to watch him because he’s my buddy. I went to watch him and he became my buddy because I enjoy his singing that he has a little following of people to go there and it went in between songs he will go around and talk to everybody, which I think is very lovely. I’m going to post some pictures of him and what he does, but if you get a chance, he takes Requests. Often I go and just sit there and listen to him singing and then sometimes I go and have dinner, a drink & enjoy his singing.

Old Vegas neighborhood bar vibe. Real character, personal touches, and a place where people actually feel welcome. I moved to the area and it already feels like my bar.
Hands down the best bar on the east side of Las Vegas. Food/ Drinks you name it, they have it.. The owner clearly cares and runs the place with a personal touch that shows in both the service and the atmosphere.
The cowboy behind the bar is always ready to make you laugh and make you feel at home not to mention genuinely cute bartenders who actually want to make your experience enjoyable. Friendly, attentive, and always making you feel like a regular. True Cheers-style spot.

I’m surprised I never heard about this place in the 10 years I’ve lived here. I ordered the Sausage Rustica for lunch. It was huge. I’ll get two big meals out of it. And it was fantastic. I love the look of the dining room. It’s not crowded with really nice chairs and tables and several booths. I’m definitely going there again.

UPDATE: After many years is been since we have been here, we are not disappointed with the food or service. I had the fish special and wife had the hamburger as pictured. It was very good. Prices are reasonable, but no higher than most places these days. I still recommend and will be back.
I’ve been coming to Inchabods for a few times now. And every time I come I love the food. It’s fresh daily and the soups are good too. The wait staff is good too. I’m only speaking of the table side. But will keep coming back. 🙂 It’s worth trying.

There are 2 sections, smoking & non smoking. The Live music is sensational. Sometimes jazz, sometimes country, and they have a crowd that comes for it, too.
And did I mention, FINALLY priced low and fair, as it should to be. Drinks are righteous Vintage Vegas at it’s absolute BEST✨️

I stumbled upon this hidden gem while waiting for my vehicle windows to be tinted, and I’m so glad I did! This local restaurant and bar has a fantastic atmosphere with a Sleepy Hollow theme that adds a unique charm to the experience.
The bar area offers plenty of seating options, and they have live music every evening, with karaoke kicking off every Saturday at 11 PM and going strong until 2 or 3 AM. It’s a perfect spot for a late-night hangout.
What’s even better is their separate family-friendly dining area, so kids are more than welcome. Dinner is served all day, and I couldn’t resist trying their steak with breakfast potatoes and eggs—absolutely phenomenal!
The food quality, paired with the ambiance, makes it a place I can’t wait to return to.
Service is pretty good as you’re promptly attended to, regardless of where you seat yourself and whether there was anyone at the front when you walked in.
Ample parking that is free and directly in front of the lounge is available it is nestled in the complex next to the planet fitness.
Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

One of my absolute favorite places to spend an evening in Las Vegas. There’s live music every night, and our favorite group to watch is always The Ambassadors. They took a few special music requests and made our evening. We’ve had the same waiter several times, and the service is phenomenal. Definitely a budget friendly option for dinner and a show off the strip!
