Since opening in 1977, Iceberg has become one of the most popular ice cream parlors at the Jersey Shore. We were nominated in the years of 2012 and 2013 by The Happening List as Ocean County’s Best Frozen Desert and won this title in both 2014 and 2015. There is usually a line but it moves quickly and it’s worth the wait for the homemade ice cream. The staff is always helpful and kind. Lots of flavor options, lots of topping options, lots of happy faces standing outside the store eating their ice cream 🙂

Louis Truppa (Louie)
They do something here that I’ve never seen at any other ice cream spot. Instead of standing behind the glass and ordering one ice cream at a time, they take your entire order at a register first. You can put your entire order in and wait in their lobby while your ice cream is scooped and bagged behind the scenes. This method is 100 times better than the typical way of ordering ice cream and I recommend more places do this. I’ve never seen a line here because of this method and I will continue to come here because of it.

I opted for their signature Mango Ice Cream , and it was creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced in taste. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, helping me navigate their extensive menu with ease( Their name were Sienna and Bella and Mia) The ambiance of the shop was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a sweet treat. Our favorite ice cream on the island. My wife loves the cookie dough. My son loves the strawberry cheesecake. My daughter loves the rainbow Italian ice. We also recommend the moose tracks, mocha chip, mint oreo, and s’mores. If you prefer soft serve, you won’t be disappointed. My only request is that they bring back the key lime pie ice cream; that was my favorite.
