What a fantastic experience my husband and I had at The Iceberg Drive Inn – Rexburg location. We got a combo w/ a shake and an additional sandwich + shake for about $29. The atmosphere was incredible, the food was fantastic, and most of all the service was so welcoming and kind. Emmalyn gave us the biggest, most sincere smile I’ve seen in a while. She was talkative, sociable, professional, and amazingly kind. You can tell she actually loves her job.

It felt like home, and I mean it! It was like getting food at your grandma’s house in the summer when everyone is hanging around and listening to their records while you sit and eat. It was clean, bright, and refreshing. We will be back time and time again!!

The food was fantastic as well. Delicious and very well made. Service was quick and they bring you your food! The shakes were phenomenal and had real ingredients in them. We got the Banana Foster and the Grasshopper. The sizes are HUGE. We had to settle for getting Mini’s because otherwise it would be too much to get individually! It is well worth the price to get a shake while you’re there.

Went there for the first time in my life today. And I was very much pleased! The food was amazing, the service was stellar, and the wait time was pleasing! The prices were decently set, allowing me to get my meals and be fully stuffed with a fair price. 10/10, I look forward to coming again!

First time I personally ordered from Iceberg, I didn’t particularly care for the hamburger. But the fries were well done and the fry sauce (rare commodity in Rexburg Restaurants) was spot on. And the Ice cream? Oh the Ice cream is some of the best Ice cream I’ve ever had. And the best part? You can put that ice cream in the freezer and still keep that silky soft consistency! I’ve never seen that before with ANY ice cream. And it makes me one happy camper, cause I HATE ice cream that’s hard as a rock.

The second time I ordered, I changed some of the sauces on the hamburger, and it was perfect. I usually don’t care for restaurant hamburgers, I rather make them myself.., But Iceburg does them right. With plenty of flavor and customization to cater to customers palette preferences.

If you’re looking for a good local fast food joint with a great price and friendly staff. I suggest stopping by Iceberg while you’re in town.

Went to the needw rexburg location and was rather excited to try something new and local. Well I understood that anew location would have a long wait in the drive up, 45 min, and no way out once in, so if the line is long your stuck. Had to ask twice at the window after getting our food for our drinks and they were still wrong. For 40 dollars fir two meals I was highly disappointed. Onion rings were to tuff to chew and the burger was dry as a popcorn Farr. Absolutely inedible. Unless things change, won’t be back

This may be is the most disappointing burger I’ve ever paid for. The burger was very dry and had to have been cooked long before served. They were not busy, so it doesn’t seem like it would have been difficult to cook the burger when we got there. The tomato slice on my burger was very disappointing, It was literally the top skin of the tomato and a piece that I would absolutely have thrown away before I put it on a sandwich. It was like someone intelligently sliced it off of a tomato to throw away but instead put it on my burger. The menu is tricky. They show a combo meal with one price with a milkshake on the menu then they charge you $2.50 more to have a shake I don’t mind paying more for shake they literally have a shake in the picture of the combo and then charge you more for it. When we came in, there was an individual at the counter, we walked up the counter and he walked away and went and sat at a table and then we waited for several minutes before someone helped us. The milkshake was good. Pass on the mozzarella sticks. I like to support local businesses. I hope for their sake they make some adjustments so they can stick around.

Love this place. Feels like a huge step up in terms of a fast food place. Food is great, service is above and beyond and atmosphere is great. If you’re looking for the convenience of fast food but the quality and service of somewhere nicer this is the place. Not to mention best bang for your buck in terms of ice cream in town.

Honesty don’t go here for food. Just the ice cream is good. We got the onion rings and fried zucchini and man they tasted so bland. No salt or anything. I didn’t even want to try a burger. The prices are pretty steep too which is why it was so disappointing. Paid a lot for 4 onion rings and some zucchini. Just go for ice cream, otherwise not worth it.

This was my first time coming here, and unfortunately I left really disappointed. I ordered the sweet potato fries, but they had a very strange aftertaste that made them hard to eat. I also went to get water, and instead of tasting fresh and clean it actually tasted like watered-down Sprite, which was honestly pretty nasty. On top of that, the chicken tenders also had a weird aftertaste that just didn’t sit right.

Overall, I came in expecting a better experience, but the food and even the water left me questioning the quality. If someone were to ask me if I’d recommend this place, I’d have to say no based on my experience today. I really hope management takes this feedback seriously because there’s definitely room for improvement.

I have been here twice since opening. Both times our food has been great and our shakes have been great, and the people working the window have been very polite! However a big thing is that last time I went through the drive through, with only one car ahead of me, I waited for 30 minutes which I think is way to long especially for a restraunt called Iceburg- Drive inn. I was given my shakes around the 5 minute mark so by the time I received my food, my shakes were melting and dripping in my car. I was picking up ice cream for other people so I couldn’t just eat it to prevent the drips. If drive through wait times get significantly shorter and ice cream products not made until food is ready to be given, I would easily give 5 stars. Will probably be back again in hopes of seeing improvement in the future as it’s one of my husbands favorite places.

Also, get the rodio burger! It’s delicious!

Summary: The food is probably the lowest quality you can legally buy, including the shakes, and the wait was pretty long. That said the staff were kind, and the Mozz Sticks were decent, so I will give 2 stars. This is Pizza by Alfredo, not Alfredo’s Pizza Cafe. You have been warned.

Let me stress that I enjoy cheap food. I also used to get this in Mesa when I was younger. I distinctly remember everyone hated when I chose this place for my birthday one year since they said it was “cheap”, and said we should get Nelson’s Frozen Custard. But I always fought for the size of these shakes. Today when we drove past, I immediately turned around and said we had to try it out. I told my wife to expect cheaper food, but I remembered the shakes being good.

Order: 2 Grilled Cheese, 1 Mozz Sticks, 1 Zucchini Strips, 1 Corndog, 1 Regular Chocolate Shake.

Zucchini Strips – Bland, we took several bites, tried with dip, and through them away. They literally have no additional flavor. Not even salt as far as we could tell. You could tell me it was particle board and I wouldn’t be surprised. 1 Star – really really rough.

Corndog – Initial bite tastes alright, then has a really strong after-taste. Honesty, I assume these are just frozen and reheated and this process makes them taste a bit off. I could just get this from Walmart for much cheaper. 2 Stars.

Mozz Sticks – Honestly, not bad at all. The actual sticks were great, makes sense why they are 6.50, I assume they outsource these. Not worth that price (you get 4) but they are of decent quality when compared to everything else. 4 Stars. *Note* The marinara was terrible. It was like watered down tomatoes sauce with pieces of garlic. Like very very water. I’m really not being dramatic, it’s that bad. I really would have rather the fake processed kind that has a taste and has the ability to be dipped into.

Grilled Cheese – My goodness, what an abomination. I love grilled cheese and I realize that fast food versions are normally very cheap and seen as bad, but I like them. This was hands down the worst grilled cheese I have ordered, and I would say probably the most pathetic offering from a business as a product. It is soft, barely warm, un-melted cheese, and the bread… the bread is literally yellow? It’s not like “oh they added butter” yellow. It’s like a spray-tan yellow, which I assume is some form of spray on butter or something? I’m telling you, it was so sad. I ate it, I forced myself. It was just eating soft, dry bread that clings to the top of your mouth. No flavor, no texture, and “cheese” that is still semi-solid. Ladies and gentlemen, this is a crime against the grilled cheese community to serve this as food. Please just take the time to add some texture, use real butter, and bump the price up to 4 bucks.

Shakes – This could be that I don’t like this style of shake, I concede that point. But it was really bad. It’s very very icy, it’s not creamy at all, and it uses that old school “fake” chocolate flavor. it’s gritty, almost like it was freezer burned and ground up. It’s like how my protein shakes taste when I mix them with icy. Also, please give an option for a lid… the marketing gimmick of an overflowing cup is very stupid in a drive through context. It’s so icy yet it melted very quickly and I had to eat the top half as fast as possible. This is not a Blizzard, it creates a mess. I honestly would probably rate it as the worst shake I have had in recent memory, and it melting in my car really annoyed me.

All in all, I went in expecting cheap food and boy did it deliver. Also we were the only people and it took around 20 minutes.

As of 2026, this has set the bar for the worst: chocolate milkshake, marinara sauce, zucchini strips, and certainly grilled cheese.

I leave you with this… you remember The Office episode where Michael orders pizza from Pizza by Alfredo? This is Pizza by Alfredo, not Alfredo’s Pizza Cafe.
