Came here to try the kakigōri, or shaved ice. They offer it in your choice of a strawberry or mango flavor. I tried the mango, and it was really nice. Lots of fresh cut mango, shaved ice with mango syrup, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. It was a bit expensive, $9.99 plus tax, but it had a great taste, and it’s definitely big enough to share with another person.

Great little find while I was walking around this afternoon. The onigiri was great, and the okonomiyaki was something I’ve never tasted, heard of, or seen before. It was absolutely delicious and I will be coming back for more sometime! Staff were super friendly as well. I believe they said it was the only place around that you could get it, so I think it’s definitely worth a visit.

Came here at the behest of my daughters. We came strictly for dessert after having declined the dessert option after dinner at a different restaurant. We got 3 items to share: coffee jelly, Japanese flan, and… At first we tried to order their mango shaved ice. The owner said that she can make it for us, but suggested that since mangoes are not in season, they don’t taste the greatest right now, so she suggested strawberries. Makes sense, so we went with it.
The coffee jelly was strong and creamy. It was good. The flan was also very good. Being Filipino, I’m used to a richer and silkier flan. This Japanese version was lighter, but still pretty silky. The strawberry shaved ice is huge! Good for sharing. Their shaved ice is such a fine and perfect texture that I’ve never had anywhere else. Usually, shaved ice I’ve had in the past is at least partially crunchy. Their shaved ice here is very fine – like freshly fallen, powdery snow. Great stuff! Will be back!

Omg! This little place is adorable! Staff is warm and welcoming! I was told to come check them out and so I found myself here!
I ordered the Spam Musubi and the veggie Okonomiyaki which I had no idea what it was but the cashier recommended it and it was delicious it’s hard to explain what it taste like so you have to go try it out! Very fresh will definitely visit to try more items on the menu!

Quaint Japanese place in Cleveland’s Asia Town. The atmosphere feels like you are in East Asia, and the food is delicious, high quality, and very fairly priced.
I’d absolutely come back.
Oh also, if you’ve never tried okonomiyaki it is a must have! It’s a very interesting dish that I’ve never had anything like before, and it’s quite delicious.

Food was tasty and workers were very kind. As of 12/25 there is still construction on Payne, found street parking on 38th. Small seating inside, they do accept card. Ordering online for pickup is available if you don’t want to wait, since they have a smaller kitchen it takes a little longer during the busy hours. Will definitely be back.

I’ve picked up lunch from here many times now, and I am consistently impressed. Everything is cooked/rolled to order, and the owner is friendly and helpful if you don’t know what you want. I love the curry katsu and the loco moco, and the spam musubi is fun!

This is the only place you can get Okonomiaki in Cleveland & it’s cheap & delicious. More of a grab & go type place but they have a few tables. Very friendly staff. The other food is very good as well. I’ll be back soon.

One of my wife and I’s favorite spots in Asiatown. The pork belly okonomiyaki was one of my favorite meals of the year. Hard to describe but just incredibly succulent. Maybe the surprise of the day was the poke bowl. It was one of the best I’ve ever had. Just stunningly good. The drinks were excellent as well.
NOTE: This meal was actually back in August – I can’t believe I forgot to drop them a nice review.

This place was so delicious! I tried the tuna and pork sung onigiri, spam musubi, dragon roll, spicy tuna roll and curry chicken katsu. What wasnt pictured was devoured right away. Everything is made to order so it is so fresh. The service was wonderful and they recommended the house tea which also disappeared right away. This is now going to be one of my frequent spots to go to.
