We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner here.
The food from appetizer (cheese curds and pretzel sticks) to dessert was delicious.
Our server Caitlyn was the best!
We look forward to our next dinner here.

Delicious food and a cozy atmosphere! Knock the snow off your boots and grab a high top by the fire. The poutine is amazing, steaks cooked perfectly, and a friendly welcoming staff. Beer specials are worth asking about. Call ahead for reservations at busy seasons.

INCREDIBLE! First of all we ordered a special (the potstickers with a beautiful chilli sauce) and every. Single. Bite. Was. Heaven. New flavors developed with every chew. It was incredible. Then I ordered the Swiss burger and the crunch, the flavor of the farm fresh meat, the Swiss, everything! It was beautiful. The service, incredible. The atmosphere, so cozy and timeless. From the views to the heaven tasting food I literally COULD NOT recommend this restaurant more.

I can’t begin to explain how good this place was. My son has the mussels for appetizer and wow! Might be the best we have ever eaten. Such a cozy, nice little place. Burgers and chicken sandwiches were also a wow… And the eagle fries are perfectly crispy and seasoned. Great staff. Definitely try this place out!

Loved this this place! Our first time visit was on a Thursday evening without a reservation—it got busy and we soon learned why—the food was spectacular. Fresh and inventive menu items along with some more traditional choices. Local ingredients and a balanced selection of wines and canned beers/ciders (not a full bar). Our orders were all from that day’s specials. Shishito pepper app with fresh apple and radish balanced with teriyaki glaze and a fantastic creamy aioli.
The mussels in a creamy wine sauce with chorizo and jalapeños was one of the best seafood dishes I’ve ever had. The scallops with fennel and sambuca sauce were amazing. The restaurant is in a converted inn. Service was excellent and their kitchen staff knows their craft!
Well done!

Just had a great meal and we only ordered the specials. Started with the chicken corn chowder and the Barata and they were very good. The entrées we had were the chicken pesto sandwich and the hanger steak. Unfortunately they came out and we just started eating so there are no pictures of them. Or a brownie sundae as a special with fresh strawberries and blueberries drizzled caramel. It was a Very enjoyable meal.

I stayed here for 3 nights while hiking in the Adirondaks and it was very cozy and nice. The restaurant wasn’t available while I was there but I had everything I needed during my stay. It is very clean, peaceful, and such a beautiful old place in the mtns.

Let’s start off this place was very comfortable and cozy. The waitress was great and super fantastic, the waitress explained all specials which we loved. Mushroom ravioli was great 10/10. Chicken sandwich was amazing. Coconut shrimp spring rolls were great and tasty. Mussels were a 10 with the sauce. If you are in lake placid definitely try this spot. A little hidden gem.

Charming with great service, (thank you Sherry!)
Eclectic menu that puts a creative spin on common ingredients. Brussels sprouts elevated with an amazing sauce, spice and flavor profiles that “kick it up a notch”.
Lots of variety and unique specials.
Don’t leave the ‘Dacks without a visit!

Such a cute place. The food is delicious, fair prices, the service is friendly.
Highly recommend visiting. We had a party of six and were all satisfied with our meals.
Construction criticism note:
One of us spilled the coffee, and none of the servers didn’t help us to clean it up and didn’t ask if we wanted a refill for the drink. Other than that, we had no problems.
