the Paradise is a local staple that has held on to certain aspect of originality but has also let some things fall short, so let me explain.
general ran by a group of high schoolers, and this is great to promote business and management practice, but while running this way with the ratio I seen saturday, I was able to feel the originality. my order was taken by what I was guess to be a 15, 16 yr old whom only memorized the basics off the menu so good thing for for a wall menu display on the side so please know your order before hand to help the ones taking your order, they confuse easily at times.
Though the group of youngsters seemed to create a fun and playful work environment, a level of professionalism would have carried this a long way, but hey, it’s just ice cream.
the overall variety was actually quite the selection and while the ice cream wasn’t cold stone folded, it still had that handmade creamy texture.
I went with the waffle cone and double scoop of bubblegum, my son wanted a scoop of old English toffee and my wife grabbed the Paradise Nachos using blueberry ice cream and raspberry sauce with chocolate drizzle and crushed peanuts while my daughter didnt want anything but thats understandable since we just left BackroadsBBq, making these to destinations an amazing pair of neighbors.
the Paradise offers a small seating area out front while waiting for orders and some stay to eat, but there are spot scattered area a small play area for children which was quite nice but we had grown kids so we sat in our car and enjoyed our snacks.
the prices were fair and reasonable for all the items we seen, but the extras or added toppings can increase fast but won’t break your pocket.
will we be returning, yes, we are local and the items are tasty.

First the people are super nice!
Really enjoyed my interaction with them.
The price is very fair in the $3-4.5 for any items.
We were a party of 9 and got to try many different ice cream, milk shakes and slushies… every body was very satisfied with it (even the picky toddler).
The seating area is nice but could use a bit of shades.
The playground is super nice…but where are the trees?
5 stars no hesitation.

They have the best turtle sundaes! After trying theirs, I compare everyone else’s turtle sundaes to theirs. My fiance ordered their hand dipped banana split and we got a doggy dish for our pup. The sizes are pretty decent. A medium turtle sundae was plenty and even the doggy dish was more than I expected! Highly recommend!!

This was a very pleasant place for dessert. It has a big menu, and it was quite busy. My butter pecan ice cream was very good, and I have no issues with the food. I was a tad confused with ordering at the windows, and it can get a bit crowded there, but that’s really only due to the layout of the building. There’s a nice playground for kids too, and my friend’s family had a good time playing there. I’d definitely recommend Ice Cream Paradise to anyone looking for a sweet treat.

Great ice cream. This place has been a symbol of joy and happy smiles in Lebanon for years. Their nachos and BBQ sandwiches are really good. There is nice playground next to the store and a place to sit and eat you ice cream and watch your kids play. A great place for a quick family treat.

ICP is an absolute must stop! Grab a coney dog and a flurry and enjoy the playground. Service is pretty slow but it’s worth the wait.

We had our first stop here in a long time and regretted instantly that we dont get to Lebanon more often. The ice cream was phenomenal! And I loved the “Dirty Soda” combos they have now too.

This place is everything a true All American classic ice cream shop should be. They have THE BEST homemade ice cream which is fabulous just the way it is.. but then they also know all the best ways to take it up a notch with the various combinations of toppings sauces etc.. making amazing Banana Splits, Sundays, Floats, Shakes, dipped Cones etc. They also offer a good selection of classic Drive In fare like Nachos, Hot Dogs, etc. It’s always clean & the staff is friendly. They have a fun playground & it’s a wonderful place to bring the family on an afternoon for a treat & some play time. Easy to find & close to Hwy 65 but not too close. This is a MUST STOP LOCATION for me whenever I’m in the area & well worth the long drive even if I’m not going for any other reason. This place is a family owned institution that I hope is supported & preserved for many more years to come. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
