Very good food! Must try the specials – walleye with bananas and fish stuffed with crab and shrimp! Tres Leches cake and peach sangria are a must! The almond liqueur is a special bonus! Definitely recommend!

10000/10 service was top tier. I felt like we were a wedding event being waited on. That’s how important they made us feel. Highly recommend the sachetti and crab stuffed mushroom app and we all loved our entrees as well. Everyone loved their drinks too. Thanks for making our birthday so special. We will be back!

Had a wonderful lunch here! They were so kind and accommodating to me and my child, giving us a nice big spot to sit. Everything we ordered was tasty. The place has such a good feel to it that I’m already planning to come back for dinner. Highly recommend!

Simply put, it was like dining at their home and the specials were made just to impress us. The ‘what to eat’ decision takes a good bit of time when you look at the menu choices! It takes your first glass of wine to decide just on which tapas appetizer to go with.
What makes us go wow when dining out: great food (check), the right amount of attention so my wife and I can feel unrushed (check), minimal background noise so we can actually have a conversation over diner (check), wine by the glass that isn’t vinegar(check). The specials, unlike most restaurants, are actually a chef special made fresh to order, a good list of proteins and probably only available for two or three days at most.
Bottom line…we drive 45 minutes to this restaurant and 45 minutes home and we don’t feel it’s a wasted trip.

Where do I start……We walked into this fine Establishment and were greeted by the Friendliest smiling Staff, ready to serve; and They did! We sat at the bar, they gave Us top notch service that made Us want to stay. The food! I’m a MAJOR foodie and eat everywhere in the city regularly. I’d heard so much about this place, it did NOT Disappoint! We ordered a Stuffed Fish Special, a Twin Ribeye special, the Lobster Ravioli, the Shrimp Ajillo and the Sautéed Calamari, EVERYTHING was FANTASTIC!!!!! Will be back SOON, and OFTEN!!!

I loved this place! Good food and great people that make you feel at home. I tried the octopus and the quail. Both were cooked very well, and the sauces are amazing. I look forward to stopping back the next time I’m in the area to swap stories and recipes with Bill. He is one of a kind.

I was out on the lake for the day and found this gem of a place doing the typical internet ‘best places to eat near me’. The restaraunt adds a lot of class to Avon area very nice atmosphere on the patio white linen table cloth and well dressed waiters. Upper class without being stuffy for sure. We had the sea bass, filet and veggie stuffed peppers which was very good. Far exceeded the gyro or shwarma I thought I was going to have before seeing the menu. Great place for a date, anniversary or other special occassion.

Was seated upon arriving on time for our reservations. The spanish chorizo and patataz bravas are delicious tapas options to start with.
The seafood paella was a good size serving for 2 people (even though waiter told us it was for one) and was just OK.
The negatives:
Seating is very tight, we were seated smack dab in the middle of the restaurant stuck between a table on each side. Each time someone walked by they bumped into us or the table.
Our waiter was not very attentive, saw him a total of 3 times and gave us a bit of an attitude when we told him the fresh walleye tasted disgusting ( it had bananas on it )- at the end he did take off the bill but did throw in a couple of sarcastic comments.
The grilled octopus appetizer was small and flavorless and for some reason they put blue cheese on it. Would not recommend.
The salads given were random and not too great because they are with 1000 island dressing plus don’t ask what kind of dressing you want.
