If you’re looking for a low-key spot to enjoy some delicious falafel in Jersey City, look no further than Ibby’s Falafel. I recently stopped by and tried their famous falafel sandwich, and it did not disappoint! The flavors were outstanding, especially with the option to add their spicy sauce—definitely a must-try.
As I walked by, the aroma wafting from the place was irresistible. I also noticed their pita chips and baklava on the menu, which I’ll have to come back for next time. Overall, a great spot for a quick and satisfying meal! Highly recommend!

Corner store, very good place for falafels. We got the falafel sandwich and it was great. There was no greetings when entering or exiting but the person who took our order did tell about special deals when ordering. He seemed to be really busy on the phone which was a little off putting. The cook was very friendly and made sure we had everything before leaving. Overall, good place to eat in this area if you’re in the mood for falafel.

Without question one of the top restaurants in Jersey City, NJ. The sales people are amazing, kind professional. When you do come ask for Talaat. He’s an amazing person that will serve with the utmost kindness. You can’t mess with whatever dishes you decide to get here

The awards they have inside boasts how good the falafel platter is. I definitely recommend it. A nice crunch when you bite and the chickpeas meshes nicely with it. The rice is soft and given in generous quantities.
A small place for a pick up and go spot, but there are some small tables inside and out.

If you’re a fan of falafel and enjoy Egyptian-style falafel, I recommend this place. I’ve tried various falafels at different eateries, and I really liked that they add onions here, giving it a unique flavor. The French fries are very crispy and tasty. The prices are reasonable and overall economical; two of us ate for $37.
I recommend it to all falafel lovers and fans of Arab cuisine in general!

Stopped here after a nice bike ride and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Shawarma platter and it was delicious. The meat was flavorful, tender, and came in a generous portion. The salad and sides were fresh and paired perfectly with the dish. Great spot to refuel after a ride!

I got the Chicken Shawarma sandwich! It was very flavorful! It was very filling but not overwhelming heavy!
I get why this place has been around for so long! Great sandwich!

Today was a cold day and all I wanted was a good homemade meal. This hit the spot. The service was excellent. The young man at the restaurant was patient with us as we made our selections. The restaurant was small as all are up here in NY/J but it was CLEAN! It was homey, it was cozy, it was welcoming.
The mint lemonade is something of a novelty and they make it in house. The hummus is unlike anything you’ll ever buy at a grocery store…and the spicy pita chips are perfection. I am about to try a slice of baklava and other assorted pastries but I couldn’t wait any longer and wanted to leave a raving review!!!

I stumbled upon grove street during lunch time and walked into Ibby’s falafel to try them out. Let me tell you that this was exceptional experience . Their food was so fresh and tasty I just don’t know where to begin. I had there shawafel lamb combo and a side of hummus. Honestly 5 stars is too little for the great taste I experienced. Omg I forgot the fresh mint lemonade drink I had with my meal. It’s was just refreshing. I highly recommend this place. They been around since 1996. Great Middle Eastern food for sure.
