I’m so thrilled that they are back open after a fire. I’ve gone twice since they opened and both times the food has been fresh and tasty. The characteristic char on the chicken is already there and the prices are very fair for lunch in Seattle. This is my favorite teriyaki place in Seattle

I went on the second day of its re-opening at peak dinner hours. Place was packed. I waited about 30 minutes for a to-go order; another customer beside me waited 40 minutes for her order. A customer who ordered after me received her order ahead of me and two others. The food was okay (chicken-gyoza combo) and the sauce was the same as before (a little more on the sweeter side). I ate some of my meal inside since I had waited so long I was starving. The portions were underwhelming. I noticed the in-dining plates had two full scoops of rice and was nicely presented. My to-go box was hastily prepared, the sauce for the gyoza was missing, the teriyaki sauce was minimal, and the rice seemed to be only one scoop mashed down to spread it out. Thoroughly disappointed. I will not be returning unless it’s the only option available.

I’ve been waiting for 3 long years to taste my dreams again. AND ITS EXACTLY THE SAME.
The flavors ( spicy chicken teriyaki)the portions, the rice, the crispy iceberg lettuce salad.
I’m so happy I could cry. Welcome back!! We missed you!
*side note – it’s interrogation room bright inside – blinding! Eat in w caution

This used to be the teriyaki place i came to before it burned down. I just tried it again today, The food is just as i remember it. I called in my order, It was ready by the time I arrived. They have extra sauce bottles off to the side, if you want to add more to your meal. Would definitely recommend trying if you haven’t.

We, as a city, are so lucky to have I Luv Teriyaki back in our lives! To return from adversity with the same quality, taste, portion size is quite the feat. Just as good as I remember. I can’t wait to eat more spicy chicken teriyaki to make up for the absence. ❤️

They always have tea, filter water and salad dressing bottle (not stingy) their pork teriyaki isn’t grilled so no risk of char on meat. And the prices in 2023 are around $12-13 which is amazing! They fo take out only after 8:30pm otherwise you get a great ol plate and metal fork no plastics involved!!

I Luv Teriyaki is one of the best teriyaki restaurants in seattle by far. Between the low price, big portions and delicious food, I’d say it’s worth the trip if you are down on the south end of the city. The service here is pretty good, takes them less than 10 minutes to make everything. The parking situation isba little bit tough since it’s on such a busy corner. Spicy teriyaki with gyoza is the go to for sure.
