Having lived in Southern California for years, I know good Mexican food. I have tried a plethora of Mexican food here. Until I tried this restaurant I have been less than impressed. Don’t get me wrong, there are some good restaurants, but this one is my favorite!
Alma took our order. She was so friendly and amenable. I absolutely love their red sauce.(spicy!) and she threw in a couple extra.
Oh, by the way, my husband and daughter picked me up from the hospital. I had been there for four days and this was my first meal.
I had the chili relleno plate. We also got tortas…

I went back the other day. Jerry was phenomenal, especially considering a fact that it was only his second day working there! Just like with Alma, they (she was there as well) made us feel very welcome, especially considering that we arrived a half hour before closing.(it was a to go order.)
I don’t remember what the dish was called, but I got their special, and let me tell you… I can’t stop thinking about it! It had shrimp, grilled onions and peppers (I ordered it without peppers)
It was EXQUISITE! The shrimp were cooked perfectly. And everything tasted wonderful.
My daughter got the Birria quesadilla and it was filled with meat. She is definitely going to get that one again!
I am so impressed with this restaurant; with their incredible staff and the food. I just wish it was closer.(we live in Nixa.)
It’s probably a good thing that it isn’t!

Atmosphere is fun and clean. The customer service is good and friendly. I had the special: 5 corn tortillas, carne (pork shoulder, I think) refried beans, Spanish rice and a little bit of salad. The meat was tender and delicious (pick a different meat if you don’t like fatty parts) The corn tortillas were soft and delicious. My girls liked their food. My daughter gave the burrito a 10 out of 10 (it’s very big) they loved the spicy salsa. I would definitely come here again.

honestly the food was so delicious that it definitely hit the spot i do recommend. the young cashier that attended and served me was super sweet with me. she’s pretty, funny, and energetic which i loved overall! and the energy she gave me was super wonderful, except everything was going good until i found a hair in my food. as soon as i take two bites off of my food i felt the piece of hair in my mouth and pulled it away which was gross and a loss of appetite. it was long and the color was a light blonde-ish strand. im so disappointed that i literally drove 3 hours away to try it out for my first time. 3/10.

Such a cute restaurant. The food was delicious! My husband enjoyed a hefty breakfast burrito and I had the chorizo breakfast tacos. Both were fantastic. The corn tortillas were rhick, like a homemade tortilla. The chorizo was cooked perfectly. The service was excellent, and the decor is bright. A very clean restaurant. My husband is already talking about what he’s going to order the next time we go.

Omg — so my husband has eaten here a few times before. It was Valentine’s Day and of course every restaurant we wanted was completely booked because we totally forgot about reservations (our girls had soccer games and the day just got away from us).
We started trying to think of places people normally wouldn’t go to on Valentine’s lol… and my husband suggested this spot. At that point we were like, we’ll take anything!
We walked in and the lady at the counter was SO sweet and answered all my questions. You order at the counter and then pick up your food there — super simple. Prices were very reasonable too!
It wasn’t crowded at all, which honestly surprised me. The vibe is different but really cute! They even let you write messages and names on the wall — how adorable is that?! And there’s plenty of parking, which is always a win.
Now let’s talk about the FOOD… AMAZING!!! We were so hungry we didn’t even take pictures — sorry!

Love the tacos here. Tried a burrito for the first time there and it was huge and delicious!!! I would recommend getting a burrito if you haven’t. Decent atmosphere and the staff was always friendly every time I’ve gone. One of the better places for tacos and add burritos now too.

I live 2 hours away but travel to the Springfield airport 3 weeks a month and will always stop at this location or the food truck they have on I-44 every chance I get. The Al Pastor street tacos are addicting and will continue to enjoy the best Mexican style street tacos I’ve ever had!!!

Decent authentic tacos at this joint, it’s got a nice dining area that’s decorated in bright colors.
There’s not really any table service, sort of an order, buzz, get your food and eat thing.
Everything I had was pretty good but I wasn’t keeping track of which taco was which. One was a bit dry.
Their sauces seem homemade and where really tasty.

May want to think about getting a bell for the counter so you know when customers come in. I had wanted to try the breakfast for a while and finally got a chance to stop in. Could hear people talking in the back and waited around for a little bit. Tried calling out to see if I could get the attention of someone but had no luck so ended up leaving and going somewhere else.
