These are absolutely the best tacos I have ever had in my life and I have had a LOT of tacos from all over the US. The chicken was packed full of flavor and cut to the perfect size for street tacos. The onions and cilantro were chopped so finely that they blended with the meat to make the perfect mix. I will always stop here when passing through or staying in Springfield. If I could give them 100 stars, I wouldn’t even hesitate.

Delicious food! Tortas are good and filling. Average of $15-20 per person. There are two indoor tables to eat at each with 2 pub chairs and three picnic tables outdoors. Plenty of parking. Good variety of foods and meats to choose from. Red salsa has great heat to it while remaining flavorful. True Mexican homemade salsa, not your typical Mexican restaurant pizza sauce style salsa that is mainly tomato with a hint of spice.

Highly recommend.

Grading food near truck stops usually gets a few pity points for simply being something decent available near the truck stop, not here, this is quality Mexican food I’d enjoy just as much at home as I did on the road. I’d say it’s better than probably 90% Mexican spots, 80 for sure, and I imagine out in Missouri that makes this little spot as good or better than anywhere else around.

I got the Pastor and Steak tacos, along with a shrimp taco. I’d prefer cabbage to lettuce on the shrimp taco but they were all delicious. Both salsas are tasty, neither are overly spicy, the guac is also delicious, it has more of a salsa consistency, finally, I’d also say don’t skip the beans and rice as they rounded out the meal great.

I tell you Missouri, The Show Me State.
They charged me $40.54 plus I tipped them $4. For To-Go Order. I got half of a pickled Jalapeño and 2 small slivers of Avocado, very little lettuce and cold onion on a none toasted Torta bun at that. Then I look at my Tacos for $3.33 a piece Tasty, but not worth $10, maybe 4 Taco’s. Then I have the SMALLEST Chili Relleno with Chicken I’ve ever seen. I put my Finger next to it to show comparison. WOW…..
NOT IMPRESSED With “I LOVE TACOS”
Your 1st Impression was not hit out of the Park. I’ll Just stick to eating Mexican food closer to the border where you get what you Pay For.

Well worth stopping by for a bite! I got the Pollo, Asada, and Campechano tacos. The Asada was pretty bland but the other two were delicious and definitely made up for the steak. The tortillas were super fresh and tender, also my friend got a burrito and it was MASSIVE. Stuffed full of delicious ingredients, I am definitely a taco gal but I may go burrito next time if I get a chance.

If you’re looking for a quality Taco truck this is your place. The lines were long but they still had our food out in no time at all during the busiest time of the day. They had a lot of seating outside with little under a roof, so I guess that’s a possible downside. I had chicken tacos and the al pastor quesadilla and the rest of the group got either burritos or different verities of tacos. Everyone enjoyed their food and we had a great time. We will definitely return!

It’s a taco truck so the atmosphere is that of a taco truck. But the food is AMAZING!!! The day we went it was bitter cold and we waited for our food in the car. It was worth the wait, even in the freezing cold. The Sope was one of the best i’ve had! My husband & I were born and raised in California & we take Mexican food very seriously. This is my top pick for Springfield. Try their chips and red salsa, it’s so good! The Horchata was amazing!
