The place is cute, the booths remind me of certain NY pizza spots out there. The slices are decent in size and I liked the fact that I was able to get them by slices. My wife and I enjoyed the pizzas. I also ordered a regular spaghetti and marinara and that comes with 2 Garlic Knots. I asked for extra sauce based on the reviews of the pasta and personally I still think it needed more sauce but that’s just me ♀️ The sauce didn’t have any flavor it was generic and the garlic knots looks different not any presentation we are used to just wished it had more garlic taste to them. Overall not bad but not NYC.

While we’re not from New York, as New Englanders its difficult to get a good pie in the south. We were thrilled to come across I Love NY Pizza. We ordered 2 large pizzas, one cheese and one meatlovers and they were excellent. They have lots of options to customize your order, from deleting or adding toppings, to the perfect level of baking (we didn’t customize the topping, only asked for crispy bake). The pizza was delicious, with my son commenting this was the best pizza he’s eaten outside of our region!

As a former New Yorker, I think a slice of pizza should maintain its integrity when you fold it in half. It should not droop down and all the cheese, toppings and grease fall to the drooping side. If the dough was crispy the grease will pool into the crust and napkin as you eat the pizza with your hands. The pizza would be foldable. This pizza needs a fork and knife to eat it. The sauce flavor is balanced and the cheese melts nicely. The owners and the staff are courteous and I really don’t want to highlight this but I have to be honest because it is disappointing every time I come thinking I will get that quintessential NY pizza.

The garlic knots don’t go in until you get there because of the garlic sauce they use, a verry nice and fresh touch, they are delicious. The inside atmosphere is cozy and was also busy, clearly a good and popular place.
As for the pizza, it is a good and I would say above average NY Style pizza. Half sausage, half pep, onion and extra cheese, and they do not skimp on the cheese. It could be less greasy for sure and got cold quicker than other non chain pies, but better than other local pizza places near me.
I would come here again.

I have to say, this is my new favorite pizza place! The pizza is amazing in flavor and looks. We ordered, and a few minutes later, the pizza came out very hot and fresh. The staff, too, are really friendly! Overall, 10/10

Let me say for the record, the most absolutely spectacular calzone I’ve ever had. It’s so good, I’m home and went to my local joint to get one and got reminded of how I miss this restaurant. This was my second time dining here and it was still as good as the first. Thin crunchy crust, generous toppings and the wings had a good fry and sauce ratio to have a good crunch as well.
