The slices were good. The cheese was processed but a decent quality. I’ve certainly had worse.
The lasagna had TONS of cheese. Unfortunately we pigged out on appetizers so I ended up taking it to go.
The Garlic Parmesan wings were GREAT! We moved here for months ago and they were the best I’ve had so far.
My wife enjoyed her Spaghetti & Meatballs. I asked her for a rating and she gave it a “six or seven.”
We ordered a large deluxe pie to take home. It looks great!
The only things we did not like was the 4% fee for paying with a card. Really put a bad taste in my wife’s mouth when it came to tipping… especially since there isn’t any wait staff.
One night I placed a DoorDash order and the restaurant realized they had made a mistake. Not only did they immediately reach out to me, but they personally delivered the corrected order themselves. I was completely blown away. It may seem like a small thing, but it meant everything that night. I had a house full of girls waiting for pizza and it was getting late.
Since discovering this place a year or so ago, I’ve ordered from them many times and have always been impressed by both the food and the customer service. They definitely have me as a loyal customer and I recommend them to anyone who will listen. Thank you for consistently delivering amazing food and outstanding service!
There was a decent amount of space and tables, I could picture a little league team of some sort coming in after a game in there.
I am torn on giving the 4 for service. The only knock I had was, because it was our first time we didn’t see the details on the menu (A LOT to choose from), but we ordered a special, chose our toppings and when we go to pay, the price was significantly higher (as if we ordered something else) and I had to ask what happened…the plus is the cashier was trying to help us bring the cost down by switching the special we picked because one of the toppings was a specialty item and would’ve cost way more if we were charged straight up, the downside is if I hadn’t asked, the change nor the price difference would’ve been explained.
Other than the communication issue, the overall experience was great.
We ordered from I Love New York Pizza while staying at a hotel in Locust Grove. The order was delivered through DoorDash, so the prompt delivery (and the fact that the food arrived only warm) is more about the delivery service than the restaurant itself.
The pizza had a nice New York–style thin crust, which I enjoyed, but the flavor was mild and a bit greasy overall.
The jalapeño poppers unfortunately didn’t impress—the cheese inside wasn’t fully melted, and the sauce provided was overly oily and unappealing in appearance.
If you’re after a decent thin-crust pizza, this place has potential. With a little more flavor and attention to preparation, it could really shine.
The dough is thin (as it should be) perfectly baked with a thin layer of crisp. The sauce and cheese mix perfectly for a tangy flavor that leaves me eager for the next bite.
I have a simple rule for pizza… if the “plain” cheese pizza is no good, then no point in trying anything else. If you like real pizza like you find in NY and hate the horrible Frankenstein creations found in places like CA or national chains, I Love NY is worth the drive.
The cheese sauce crust ratio was heavenly and you know the food is good when you sit quietly after with a touch of sadness that your meal is over. lol. So what did we do? We took two more slices to go! lol
If you’re a NYer like me and you’ve been disappointed in what you’ve found…. Come to this gem!!!! They’ve got you!
As for Giovanni, Vido and family… our sincerest thank you for giving us a taste of home today!!! We shall return very, very soon!!!
This are wonderful people engaged in a labor of love for their customers and food excellence.
The fact that they are from Naples Italy only adds to the incredible quality and experience.
Do your self a favor and get you some today.
