The portions here are HUGE! The kalbi combo is a steal and the marinade is amazing.
We ended up eating here three times during our five day trip in Ko Olina.
A mini size was perfect for me (2 kalbi ribs with rice and two sides). My husband did well with the regular (3 kalbi ribs with rice and four sides). You can also buy more side dishes.
Everything tasted super fresh and delicious.
P.S., my husband couldn’t stop man crushing on the cook/owner? He looks like a Korean actor!

Food is very TASTY which is why I kept coming back for years. However, they are very SKIMPY on their PORTIONS. Their meat jun is amazing! Their policy on amount of SAUCE is RIDICULOUS. I bought a side of meat jun for $17 dollars plus an $8 tip, and they had the audacity to give me a small container not even HALFWAY full not even 1 oz worth, and then they want to CHARGE me extra for more sauce…. seriously?! This is my first review with 2 ⭐ I don’t ever do this but after years of coming here and there’s no change I’m done. I can spend $25 for a combo plate at a sit-down restaurant instead.

Got three combo plates and they were heaaaavy!!! Great variety of cold sides to go along with the mains, I got the last Mac salad but it was on Black Friday and around 4:00 in the afternoon so normally I would think they wouldn’t run out. We got kalbi with spicy ahi, bbq chicken and shoyu poke and it was enough to share so we could really get a good taste of everything.

The food took a little while but it was well worth the wait. The garlic chicken and bbq chicken was delicious. The mac salad was a little more mayonnaise-y than I would normally expect. Cucumber kimchi was good, spicy edamame tasted more salty than spicy but was good. Potatoes are always good! Would definitely come back to try some of their other options.

This has been my favorite Korean spot for the past five years, but the last three or four times I’ve come here, it feels like they try to skimp on everything else while the prices keep getting higher. I’m sure it’s hard to be a restaurant in Oahu, but I am also just a customer.
The last time I went, it was like they tried their best to scrape a half of cup of rice across the plate, and make the banchan portions much smaller than before. I think they put three pieces of broccoli and half a scoop of macaroni salad for a combo plate.
Additionally, the banchan feels like they were leftovers and should have been tossed—choy sum was mushy and inedible, with the creamy potato being extra watery and leaking all over the other sides.
If it wasn’t a $26 combo plate after all was said and done (tip included), then whatever. But $26 is how much you can spend in a sit down restaurant, which is where I’ll go from now on. Sometimes, that just happens, you have to say goodbye and move on.

I’m giving this 5 stars because the food was good and the staff was very polite to me. They had an issue where someone put an online order for 21 meals and requested it be done within 20 min. That is a very rude thing to do and it understandably put a lot of stress on the staff. However, that is no excuse for the manager to be so mean to her staff. She was berating the poor girl in public. I felt so bad. It wasn’t just one comment, it was a continuous string of verbal abuse the entire time. I hope the manager learns to treat her employees with respect because everything else was great and I want this place to be successful.

The food was absolutely delicious. Rose rung me up and she was very polite and nice. Leslie was generous enough to explain to me what some of the sides were. They were patient and the food was so good. They give you a good amount for the price as well. I got the chicken katsu and spicy poke.

I had a great experience here! While it might seem pricey for food court food, the quality, taste, and presentation make it totally worth it. I ordered the Kalbi with some Japchae and kimchi everything was delicious and beautifully plated. The staff was fast, friendly, and professional, making the whole visit smooth and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back to try more!

Visited my brother and his family, and we tried I ❤️ Korean Restaurant in Kamakana Alii Mall.
Entrees were just average, I’ve had better. The sides were undercooked and underseasoned.
With too many good Korean restaurants in Kapolei or restaurants in that matter, I don’t think we are coming back here.
