Great food affordable price and friendly fish. The food are very well season. Lightly fried and coating are well seasoned as well. Very delicious Furikake fish, tasty Hawaii garlic shrimp and uniquely combined chicken katsu and steak. The menu consist of combination of local food with international taste. Overall great experience.

Big breakfast? Fried rice? $35 bucks? Waste of my time and money! Never coming back to this place. Did I mention it doesn’t taste good? Come on..

Down home country food with a big touch of Hawaii local favs. I’ve tried numerous dishes but the one I could enjoy every day is the fried rice with Potugese sausage!

Boooo. My breakfast plate was underseasoned and the pancakes were thick, overcooked. So disappointed as the brightly advertised menu at the NEX drew me in. Overpriced for not so good quality.

Skip this place next time and opt for some of the other yummy places in the vicinity.

Ordered the eggs Benedict beef brisket with a bottled water. I asked for a cup of ice for my water and was charged an additional 89 cents. The eggs had a bit of egg shell in it, the brisket was ok but had some fat i had to cut off, the eggs were over cooked. It came with a lot if potatoes. The woman who took the order was not very friendly or welcoming.it took about 15 minute’s before my order was ready

Delicious food, truly delicious, but the customer service is pretty bad. The wait is long almost every time even in the non-rush hours and the communication between cashier and kitchen staff is pretty much nonexistent. When you order you risk them not even passing your order back or passing it back, it’s completed, but nobody is up front to give it to you so your ticket just sits there with your food.

If you have time to wait, it’s definitely worth it, but don’t rely on it if you are trying to be in and out of the NEX.

The service is terrible, they barely acknowledge you are there. The food took 20-30 minutes to be finished, and you would have thought that since it took so long it would be fresh. It was the opposite, the food was stale and hard to chew. After about two minutes I had to throw my food away because it was so disgusting. Not to mention that it had given me and my buddy an upset stomach. My experience was one of the worst I have ever experienced and will never see me here again.

Don’t waste your money and would give no stars if that was an option. They put corn in the Halo Halo and jello instead of the normal red beans and jellies. So gross. The lechon kawali was barely cooked and was gummy and near raw. Again super gross.
