My husband and I went here for the first time and I have nothing but great things to say! The food was delicious! Simple but delicious, I had the roasted cauliflower and the drink was a royal passion. Highly recommend! The service is attentive but not overbearing, which is great so I can celebrate my husband’s birthday in peace. The atmosphere is beyond wonderful! Like I said, our experience here was amazing!

Great drinks, food and service! I ordered the riot riot and then the ya Tu sabe drinks. Also shared the American sliders and truffle tater tots. I loved the atmosphere here. No TVs on or loud music bumping. The lights were dim and it set a good mood!

We sat right down immediately on a Saturday Night around 6:30 and it was great! The drinks and food were very good, the ambiance is awesome, and our service was very diligent. This place just opened, so I imagine they’re still getting some things ironed out, but just have a plan of something to else do in the area if there’s a wait! Places like this should be celebrated. Definitely worth a visit.

1.5 hour wait, drinks were a bit pricey, food was eh. Cool atmosphere and good hospitality but lack of hygiene was a problem so we won’t be back. No gloves/scoop/tongs when handling ice. Ice was spilled on the counter in front of me and the bartender used her drink stirrer to get the ice cubes back, then put the stirrer back into the drink she was making for someone. Bathroom was okay considering the amount of people. No actual espresso machine as espresso was premade and put into a large thermos.

The wait was literally 2 hours but the drinks and calamari was worth it. The service was awesome too. Even though it was a busy night, the dude came up to us every now and then to make sure we were doing good. Glad to see more speakeasies open up in CT.

Picture this… I know this guy IG, who knows two brothers and something about a passcode and a good time during Prohibition. We arrive at the pad, say the right thing and bam! Open sesame. (Hopefully, the voice in your head read that as if a guy, straight from a movie, was telling you something that maybe he shouldn’t be tellin’ you.)

I would like to start off by mentioning we had no wait. And as basic as the code entry is for a “speakeasy” – I appreciate any limiting on too many people coming into an establishment. The ambiance was relaxing and mellow. Beautiful seating arrangements. The drinks are strong… We tried 3 cocktails. While it is clear they have a full bar, we were surprised at the lack of variety on the cocktail menu (not a single vodka option – which is odd). Beautifully presented cocktails. Food menu has expanded since they opened. We got the sliders and they were good. Staff is friendly and helpful. It’s not in the right location. Especially for women at night. We personally don’t plan on returning.

Love this place! Definitely going back! waiter was very attentive and food took only 15 mins to be served. Food was incredible. we tried to get a little something from each section on the menu and it was worth it. the over all vibe was amazing. going thru the secret bookshelf door was the best part made us feel so special lol. Im definitely recommending this place to everyone i know! This is definitely the next hot spot in New britain!

Based on many reviews, we were aware that the wait time at this establishment could be quite long. To avoid this, we arrived at 4 pm when the place opened. Around 4:30 pm, the place began to fill up, which was great to see. The wait time can be quite lengthy, possibly several hours, due to the limited size of the inside, which can’t accommodate a large crowd. The service, food, and drinks were all excellent. If you want to visit this location, it’s recommended that you arrive right when they open to secure a spot.
