Delicious seafood! Had 1lb crab legs, fried oysters, crab with butter, calamari, clam strips and hush puppies. Some of the oysters were small, but I enjoyed them better that way because they weren’t as juicy, but they did have plenty of juicy ones too. Everything was cooked perfect. The hush puppies came with a delicious cinnamon butter. They looked over cooked but they were perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. Definitely more of a takeout place, but they did have seating along their open kitchen.

Food great, big portions for the prices. Service outstanding. Seems like locals frequent for a reason. Would recommend to anyone in visiting or passing through. 1$ oysters is very cool. Great job guys.

No frills, but excellent vibe. The bar was packed and there was only one seat left when I arrived at 1 pm on. Thursday.

Parking is easy. There are plenty of different options on the menu. I came for the clams and they did not disappoint.

Crispy and fresh. No stale fry oil here!

Thank you for the late lunch and beverages.

Welcome to the true Outer Banks. The service and the food was absolutely outstanding. Please do not go anywhere else if you want fresh steamed anything!!!
What a joyful bunch of people that work there and a delightful atmosphere. The food is fresh and completely outstanding. Blue crabs are truly a delicacy in this part of the world.

This was our first time at this establishment. We weren’t disappointed. The food was excellent and our server was very friendly and helpful. We had the tacos and some hush puppies. I also had the oyster stew. We will certainly go back!!

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this place the first time. It has a weird name, is in a strip mall, and feels like a bar. Of course, it wasn’t like I had a choice but to go here since it is a tradition for my girlfriend and son on visits to OBX.

No frills, just food. Belly up to the bar, wait for the server to rip a sheet off an industrial size role of paper for your table cloth, and place an order.

The calamari was good with a big portion, and we weren’t even close to finishing it by the time our food came. The food was great and some of the best catfish I’ve had. Very “fluffy” and served hot.

Be warned that you might find yourself next to someone hitting a dead crab with a hammer, and a claw might just fly across the bar and end up in your lap, but then again you might do the same to him.

This is an excellent source of locally sourced, freshly caught seafood. The oysters were fresh and shucked to order. The steamed snow crab and shrimp were fresh and delish! I mean, melted butter makes everything better. The crab bisque was creamy. I honestly would have been happy with just the soup. The hush puppies were a little burnt, but still tasty. If you go during happy hour, they have half price oysters, but be prepared to wait for a seat. Very limited beer/wine selection. I wish they had someone dedicated to shucking oysters because our server took forever to take our order because she was shucking, making drinks, taking orders, doing it all. I did NOT enjoy how crowded the small place was or the seating arrangement. Next time I would get the seafood to go.

Recommended by our host, we decided to try out this spot, and we’re so glad we did! We ordered a bunch of items – hush puppies, crab dip, fried oyster and flounder tacos (recommended by our server), steamed shrimp, and steamed blue crabs. We loved all of it! The chips with the crab dip were unique as they were wonton wrappers. I liked that they asked for your seasoning preferences – light, medium, or heavy. The crabs and oysters were fresh! The restaurant itself is rather small with counter seating and a few tables. No frills but we don’t mind that! The service was impeccable. Plenty of parking around the building. We were so impressed with how much food the small kitchen cranked out while we were there. Whether you’re getting takeout or dining in, it’s a must try!

We’re in from Toronto area and we were recommended this place for fresh seafood and it did not disappoint! The oysters were shucked right in front of us and tasted so fresh. The blue crab tacos were the best taco I’ve ever had and I ended up ordering an 3rd after I finished the first two. The staff were super helpful when it came to breaking down the blue crabs and made great menu suggestions.
