Welcome to Alex Taverna- I/70 Diner. We relocated to our new restaurant here in Flagler, CO right off the highway we can’t be missed. We do have an updated menu, all of our popular Georgian and European dishes are still available and have been updated. We also offer delicious Cheese burgers, wings, Pizzas, and many more. Absolutely INCREDIBLE food, service, atmosphere, EVERYTHING!!! Homemade and fresh ingredients, and a family-run diner. We could not have been more lucky stopping in this spectacular place!
We had the Penovani (a cheese pastry) and greek salad, then tried the tomatillo pickled salad, which I could eat every single day; it was all so delicious! Then, Baklava for dessert and hot tea, also so good.
Just great people and tremendously awesome food. People don’t know what they’re missing out on if they don’t stop in here and try it out!

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the most welcoming and wonderful lady. I was then blown away by how beautiful the the whole place was. It was like a dream. The whole time I was there I couldn’t stop admiring the artwork. The menu impressed me, prices were great, and when the food came I was once again amazed. I definitely want to return to this place. It’s very much an immediate favorite and I hope it stays forever.

I’m Slavic and this delicious cuisine was probably the best I had ever had in America!
The food: The food here was so delicious and mouth watering. It made me remember how in my childhood my grandmother made me homemade food. The kebab with the rice made me gobble it up. The bread boat was so creamy with the cheese and hot. I’m in love with the food here!
The service: the service here is wonderful! There is a kind family who owns the place and they are the sweetest! Sure the survive can be a little slow but it’s worth the wait! Some places make you wait long and bring trashy food, but here you wait for a bit and get mouth watering food! Nobody is rude or ignorant, more like friendly and sweet! (There is only one chef who is the husband)
The atmosphere: The place is super clean! The bathroom smells nice too and is kept clean! The restaurant itself brings a warm and friendly environment to children and adults. The seats are comfy too!

The food was good. The chicken on my sandwich was fried a little longer then it should’ve been but I was hungry so I ate. We were traveling so it was better than that fast food mess. Our french fries were good and my husband’s burger was good. Love those onion rings. Great stop in the middle of nowhere. Thanks for being there lol. Charging stations for electric vehicles which is very convenient.

Don’t miss this gem, run by a delightful family who clearly loves sharing Georgian cuisine with others. The borscht is wonderful. I wanted to try everything on the menu but will have to wait until the next time we drive through!

Very friendly owners and staff. The cheese bread is excellent! You wait a few extra minutes for your meal but it is all worth the short wait. Dough is made fresh every day and you can taste the difference.
Generous portions, good pricing.
Highly recommended, must stop if you drive I70.

Such a wonderful place! The owners, Lili and her husband Alex, create an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious with a true Georgian touch — every dish feels homemade and full of love.
What really touched me was their kindness and hospitality. In my five years in the U.S., I have never felt so warmly welcomed in any restaurant.
They even have truck parking, and the place is spotless clean — perfect for travelers on the road. Anyone driving by simply must stop here — it’s an experience you won’t forget.

10/10! The food is simply AMAZING! good portions and great pricing! They also have more standard type options in their menu in case you don’t feel like experimenting too much. The owners are so attentive and sweet. Service was excellent! We had Shelby as our waitress and she was great! They had our food out in 15 to 20 mins, (it wasn’t very busy at the moment so it’d probably be longer during rush hours) it was my bday and they gave me two slices of the most amazing oreo cheesecake, with a Georgian candle that I got to keep! seriously can’t recomend this place enough!

If passing through or in Flagler DONT PASS WITHOUT STOPPING at this gem!! Food is outstanding I recommend the Bbq bacon burger or the Pork schnitzel, any of their salads 10/10 so good and you will not find better customer service.
