I purchased a large tip with fries and when I tell you it was awful. Oh my goodness, the owner needs to shut down the place until they get someone in there that knows how to clean the meat and barbecue it the right way. The meat didn’t have any seasoning on it and all that extra fat trimmings that you cut off was cooked on the rib tips and they just threw the cold french fries on the plate. It was a mess and I’m so upset I burned gas in my vehicle to come all the way out south for that garbage. If I didn’t live a distance away, I would’ve taken it back for a full refund.

Ordered the Wing-Tip Combo, the Turkey Tips, and the Link- Tip Combo… My expectations were high as this used to be my go-to rib house growing up in the neighborhood… While I struggled to eat the tough rib tips and turkey tips, I found the chicken wings, hot links and fries were very tasty… and that sauce was finger-licking good… I might give them another try…

The food used to be delicious. I ordered the wings and tips. The wings were soggy and old. The rib tips were terrible. They barely give you sauce. The fries were burnt and old. Like food had been sitting there all day. Total waste of money. Food quality and taste just isn’t the same anymore. Don’t waste your money

Yesterday I had my daughter to pick up ribs for my M. Mommy. She enjoyed them and I enjoyed a few fries. Tonight I had my daughter to bring me a small turkey tips with mild sauce. I was not impressed. They were not good. The tips were bland, and had a taste to them that I can’t explain. The sauce didn’t have a taste. It was watered down. I ate a few with the help of Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce. No more I57 for me. The tips looks better than it taste.

I went to the rib house not the smoke house. There are two of them. I ordered a slab of rids New Year’s Eve. Granted it was crowded and they were churning out orders as fast as they could it was controlled chaos. I had to wait a few minutes. But I got my food, got home and was preparing to heat it up and cut into it and it was raw cooked on the outside but not cooked inside. Bear with me this is a long review. I went to return it and they would not give me my money back gave me a runaround. Said they would give give me another slab, I said noooo. They insisted that they don’t do refund’s I insisted that I wanted my money back. Told them my wife and I are immuno compromised and elderly both being 70 years old. If we had consumed any part of this food we would have gotten very sick. Still they refused, until I mentioned I would take this matter to the health department. Needless to say that ended the debate. And I received a full refund. Don’t get me wrong they have a good track record for getting out a good product. I wrote this review to let people know check your food when at any place that is very busy and they are trying to get orders out. Your love ones need to be protected.

Greetings and Salutations. I’ve been here thrice. The first time I ordered a large Turkey Tip combo (it was good. Tips could have used more precise cutting). I inquired at the Peach Cobbler, the employee gave it to me on the house, which was neat. The last two time’s I’ve ordered the large Pork tips, due to a female employee (which I learned the was the manager) informed me that they’re all pretty tender due to being grilled And smoked. I Have Not Been Disappointed. Tips were tender, even the one’s that appeared more done and crispy. One area of opportunity

I love this place, but, love I 57 Smoke House, across the expressway as well. The Rib House got 4 stars for food because I had several non edible, burnt pieces at the bottom of the bucket, I purchased. It was soaked in oil and not much sauce at the bottom. But, the top pieces were meaty, sauce covered and delicious.

I don’t even know why they have a listed phone number!!!
They ask you to press one if you want to place a phone order, but if you’re driving from nearby you will get there before they pick up the phone and they are not even busy. You place your order through a bullet proof window. The service is not good, it is take out only no dining inside and there’s no place for you to seat down while waiting for your food. They don’t even get your order right, I asked for regular BBQ sauce and spicy BBQ sauce on the side, they only gave me one spicy. The ribs are good but though because they are way over cooked and dry. They are in a desperate need of a pitmaster, or someone who takes a little pride in what they cook.
