We can’t say enough good things about Hypnotic Chicken in Steamboat Springs—5 stars without a doubt! This spot is a total game-changer for anyone craving bold flavors and a fun vibe. We ordered the chicken sandwich, kale salad, and fries, and every single bite was pure perfection. The chicken sandwich was juicy, crispy, and packed with just the right amount of kick—hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. The kale salad was a refreshing surprise, loaded with pepitas, cranberries, and a sesame vinaigrette that made it anything but boring. And the fries? Crispy, golden, and seasoned to perfection—impossible to stop eating!
The atmosphere is laid-back yet lively, perfect for kicking back after a day on the slopes or just enjoying a casual meal. The staff were super friendly and quick, which made the whole experience even better. Hypnotic Chicken nails it with amazing food, great value, and a cool Steamboat Springs vibe. Straight fire! The chicken was great in both spicy and original. It wasn’t bland, expecting the sauce to carry it. The whole place was very clean for being busy as hell. The staff was quick and super friendly. Hypnotic Chicken is a must try for steamboat.

Highly Recommend! This little chicken joint is da bomb. Fresh food, great sauce, and friendly staff. The vibe is super fun and they have tons of seating inside and out. Dogs and husbands are allowed on the outdoor patio, and the stubborn soda on tap is awesome. Try the wings or sandwich. The cornbread is great too. Fun artwork on the walls and even in the bathroom. Clean and cool, this is a great local chicken spot.

I loved the chicken fingers and wings. My hot buffalo sauce was on point. My family had some trouble with the spice level of the sauces. Kids loved the corn dogs and grilled cheese. Beer prices were great, happy hour makes them even better! The sodas were amazing too. High quality tea.

When we got out of our vehicle the aroma was so inviting. We entered the restaurant and we were greeted immediately. The cashier noticed we were looking at the menu a little longer and asked if i was our first time. He explained the menu and made food recommendations. The chicken tender sandwich was delicious. The size was much larger than expected. Im not 100% sure what cheese they use to make their man & cheese but again it was delicous. The noodles were perfectly cooked and coated with the creamy cheese. The fried pickles were amazing. We also had the kale salad with cranberries; perfectly marriaged with a delicous vinaigrette. They serve Stubborn brand soda. We tried 2 different flavors. The vanilla cream and the zero cola. The entire experience was amazing. We will be back!

Fun independently-owned fast casual chicken with attitude joint that is worth a visit located right before the slopes and just away from downtown. Decent selection of sauces for the wings, chicken tender burgers, and sides worth ordering (curds, mac & cheese). The decor is quirky, as if saying it’s ok to be day drinking. Will be back next time!

This place is crazy good! Juiciest tendies I’ve ever had. Got the 4 piece: 2 regular and 2 hypnotic. Regular was seasoned perfectly. Hypnotic spice was right on point. Like a solid medium Nashville hot. Got a little nose drip and some under the eye sweat. Both styles were breaded perfectly with a really nice crisp. Almost tempura like. Fries were done perfectly and seasoned just right. Even the dipping sauces were way above average. BBQ is slightly sweet and not too thick. Ranch was a 10 and I’m from the Midwest where ranch is taken very seriously. Vibe was super chill with good music that wasn’t too loud. I don’t know why anyone living here would eat chicken anywhere else. Will definitely be back here next time I am in town.

Chicken tenders are dry. Their house sause is very good but nothing that great otherwise. If you do go don’t go when it’s not crowded or you’ll get cold Texas toast, cold fries and all around cold food.
