Hyder Head Brewery is a great spot for excellent craft beer. The beers are flavorful and thoughtfully made, going well beyond the typical brewery lineup. We especially love visiting on Sundays at 5:00 for Beer Bingo. Plenty of dad jokes, laughs, and surprisingly good prizes, all in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Friendly vibes, great beer, and a good time every visit. Highly recommend.

There is not a lot authentic places around volusia, at least not that i know about, regardless this is the cutest brewery l’ve visited so far. They have a very unique and interesting selection, some of the beers are brewed in the establishment (if not all) and their hops are imported from Europe! In my books that’s a win for sure, their food is definitely authentic Scottish cuisine, not necessarily the most delicious for however definitely authentic and completes the experience. Ive also tried their cider, and it was great! Not too sweet, which is a definite plus compared to commercially available ones. Service is great, we were checked on couple of times but not much, bartender made sure he is available if we need him.
Additionally the walls are decorated in bunch of meaningful decor, mostly Scottish, And it makes you feel like you stepped into the highlands! Unique experience-will definitely come back!

When I entered the restaurant, my first thought was how fresh and crisp it felt, and considering how hot it was outside, it was so good. The decor and everything was all over, I could hardly focus but it didn’t look terrible. The tables are nice and the place is clean. I like the purse hooks under the bar. Very helpful.

Being able to sample a beer before purchasing is super awesome. The one I ordered, was very good. I ordered the apple cider one but honestly, the color and flavor appeared to be more of the super hen beer which is the berry one. It was still very good. The food is limited but the bratwurst was well done and juicy. The steak mac and cheese was awesome. I do not like sauerkraut or mustard. And pickles just make me sick so I topped my brat with the mac and cheese and it worked so well for me.

I enjoyed the lunch date today and I think next time we will try a flight to have a good sample of their many delicious-sounding beers.

Stopped in while driving through town. Awesome vibe, with the decor and other customers interacting. It’s New Year’s Eve and a customer brought in a crackpot with treats for everyone. They have a variety of beers and food. We only stopped in for a couple beers. I definitely recommend stopping in to visit.

The Brewery has a nice flavor variety of beers. Good service and cool atmosphere. There’s complimentary chips and you are able to try the beers before ordering. Due to the variety of flavored beers I would recommend getting a flight to try them all out. They have bar food and beers to go. I would highly recommend giving this Brewery a try.

Coming from an Irishman. Such a fun quaint Scottish pub! NikkI and Joey are so nice! They are so much fun and totally made our night! And talent Ryan slayed the stage! Had such a good time! It’s a place that feels like home immediately if you have any kind of Scottish, Irish inclination.

We just happened upon this cool Brewery and we were treated like friends as soon as we walked in. It was so enjoyable, we were there 3 times in 3 days!
We each had a flight of beers, sampled the whiskeys, enjoyed the Haggis, neeps and tatties, then came back for live music on Friday evening.
If you go, tell Allister that Bob and Norma said Hello.

This is a great Scottish brewery. They have many Scottish, English, and Irish style brews. They also have a kitchen, serving authentic dishes like the Haggis sandwich. The owner is very friendly, and it’s a great place to come in and relax.

This is the kind of place I would like to visit regularly, it was so much fun. Today was our first visit to HyderHead and we enjoyed a great variety of beers and conversation with the friendliest and most informative bartenders we’ve met. I walked in and asked if they had beer flights and one bartender showed me the flight paddle that merits the Guinness Book world record for flight paddles. You really have to see it to believe it. Yes they served flights in more sizes than I’ve seen anywhere. The beer selection was extensive too. Many of the beers proudly bore names of the family, Scotland or the Highland Games. I like. Breweries for variety and these guys have a great choice in this regard.

Popped in for the first time. Fun, smallish brewpub with a Scottish vibe.
Didn’t try the food, but I will next time.
Beers were well-crafted and on point.
Beertender Alistair was friendly and personable. I’ll make it a regular stop when in Deland.
