This place has really gone down hill. No buffet, was made to order off dirty paper menu. Lo Mein was terrible; tasted bland and stale. Pepper Chicken and egg rolls were okay. Everything was served on Styrofoam plates. It doesn’t appear they clean the dining room or restrooms at all. The closer you look, the more disgusting it gets. I am terrified to think what the kitchen is like.
Menu said my meal was $8.99. With tax, total should have been $9.87. The woman insisted it was $12. No itemized receipt, so maybe the bottled water I didn’t ask for was $2.13? No idea.
Food was not great, service was bad and the place was a total dump. Won’t be back.

While it doesn’t look like a great place to get nice Chinese/Asian fusion from the outside (in fact, it looks sort of abandoned) this place is pleasantly warm and surprising once you walk in. It’s a buffet, so take that into account, but the quality of many of the dishes is pretty good and tasty. There’s nothing outstanding, except maybe the hot & sour soup but there’s also no complaints, especially taking account the prices, which are accessible. Service is brusque but polite and attentive, but there’s not a lot of interaction necessary with a buffet. Drinks stay filled, plates get taken away. Overall, it’s a good lunch or casual dinner spot, and the quality definitely makes up for the ru-down exterior of the building.

If you Order a combo meal, where its supposed to be half-and-half.You don’t get that, you get whatever they feel like giving you…normally they’ve been pretty decent. But this time we ordered online, and I don’t know if they just don’t understand what they have on their online menu but when we asked them for the other item in the combo, they said we had to purchase another meal if we wanted the other item.

Love the food. My favorites are the vegetable mei fun, the beef w/ mushroom and have them add the vegetables to it.
My family craves the seafood delight.
The family and staff that own and run it are so friendly. We always feel welcome when we go.

Worst customer service EVER. We liked the food, and it’s the only Chinese in town but we will never be giving our money to them again. They make a mistake on our order, when we got home and realized I called up there. They said to come back in 10-15 minutes they would re-make it. When we got back the rude lady opened the drive thru window and didn’t say a word just reached her hand out the window for the bag. 20 minutes later she returned, open the window and handed the bag and walked away. No words, no apology or anything. She was mad and acting like it was our fault that they messed up on our order. We ordered online, so it wasn’t a miscommunication over the phone. Never again will we return.

Dirty dirty dirty. Place needs a major deep clean.huge cobwebs in the bathroom dust all over walls and baseboards and the carpet needs cleaned badly. No longer has a buffet which is ok. The lady gave us one paper with a few options to build your own meal then verbally gave us one option for kids meal but no menu. Food was brought out on foam plate and then asked if the kids would want chopsticks. We said sure thinking wooden ones every other places gives. She asked how many we said two bc the rest of us didn’t want them. She brought 3 real ones and never came back. No drink refill no ticket nothing. When we went to check out bc no one came to us we not only got charged for the chop sticks but the kids meal was a dollar less than adult. And our waters were still counted and $2 each. In a water bottle. For 2 adults and 4 kids our total was $80! YIKES. Definitely nope. We were the only customers the entire hour we were there and now I see why

Hy-Yee is amazing the food is always great once in a while the foods cold but it’s a buffet owned and ran by a small group of peoples they don’t have a ton of employees. My aunt has been going their for a year or so and became friends with the workers once in a while when we come in they specially make a type of chicken dish they don’t sell anymore for my uncle since it’s his favorite. When they are eating lunch they all sit down it gives the place a very friendly appeal. If you tell them something is dirty they will make sure someone (even if they have to do it themselves) gets it cleaned up. The noodles sometimes get dry since they wait a certain amount of time before changing out the dishes since they try not to waste food but all in all the restaurant has a great atmosphere and the people are really nice.

They don’t have buffet right now because of COVID-19, but they offer a combo where you can choose your food and they cook it fresh to order. The black pepper chicken is AMAZING! I also got sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, cream cheese wontons and chicken on a stick. All of it was delicious. It’s a small family run place, so it’s nothing spectacular inside, but the lady told my husband she would cook him whatever he wanted even if it wasn’t on their temporary menu and the food was great! What else can you ask for? Lol!
