I have never posted a review of a restaurant before. That being said, I have no choice but to post one today. Here’s the deal. I ordered the Chicken fried steak, which come with homestyle potatoes, 2 eggs, which I ordered over easy, and toast or pancakes. I picked white toast. I also ordered one extra egg. What I got was an unseasoned Chicken fried Steak, three over hard eggs, unseasoned and undercooked potatoes and plain, untoasted white bread. I was also lucky enough to pay $4.00 for the extra egg. If I could, I would have given them a negative star rating. I will never order anything to go from this place again. Absolutely horrible.

Terrible customer service in the pizza and Asian food line during supper time. Stood in line for a pizza for 10 mins to watch one pizza get made and more to go before our turn, one new trained worker not ready for the job apparently. Decided to try the Asian food an two guys working, both unresponsive, short and rude. Had to wait 10 mins for what we wanted to be cooked, but everyone was being told that as the lines formed, we just grabbed what was ready. So after almost having to scream my order for him to get it wrong we got food. 1 star I would give because at least it was decent.

We ordered bacon jalapeño wontons, boneless bbq wings, and salmon rolls. I’ve always gotten the wontons & loved them, but this time they were served with no garnish and two little packets of maple syrup. The wings weren’t sauced at all and luckily we had the sauce we asked for at home or they would’ve been left plain. Lastly, the salmon rolls were discolored, the avocado was brown, and the package looked like it
had been through a car accident. I wasn’t comfortable with the look, smell, and overall condition of the sushi; so it was thrown away. This is the only bad experience I’ve had, and we likely won’t be back.

Everytime we order delivery they mess SOMETHING in our order up. Whether it’s the grille, Hi-Chi or whatever. It is never just one thing messed up, it is always multiple and just to add a little insult to injury we also almost never get utensils even though I always request chopsticks AND regular utensils, we never get either on. We however DO get tons of sauce packets that we DON’T ask for.

Got to Hy vee and called the number for curbside and it was a bad number. Called the store and had to be transferred 2 time before the pickup. The guy brought out my food and didn’t even know where the curbside pick spot 1 was I had to flag him down. I got my food and it was miss fries. Won’t be going back any time soon!

Apparently the renovations cost a lot. It used to be my absolute favorite for buffet, but now they want $20 a person, and close at 8. No longer a fan. I now understand why the place is so empty.

Service was decent.
